Then it was "test some"? I can agree with that if Bitwig is included.Full Bucket wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 1:53 pmI definitely did not say that!] Peter:H [ wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 1:40 pm Björn state above he needs time to look into all the DAWs and test it thoroughly.![]()

A quick note from me:
FL Studio, Vst2/Vst3 32/64 bit works well. No crashes, parameter changes are saved and so on.
Last test before a few minutes.
I was quite surprised by your experience with the synthesizer because I tested exactly these points extensively in the beta test.

Don't worry, Björn, it was just to notify. I'll go anyway with an "ultra-beasty" one instance entry with that great SixTraq!Full Bucket wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 1:10 pm Hi folks,
I'll try to tackle all your issues; not sure if can get MuLab on Mac right, though. My time & resources are limited to handle each system/host combination.![]()

Thank you Bjorn for another crazy-complex and staying true to the original synth! How hard this one must have been to develop and recreate is really an achievement from the perspective of a developer. Well done.Full Bucket wrote: Wed Oct 02, 2024 2:55 pm Thank you so much, BJ and Richard, for picking one of my babies again!![]()
Somehow I wish you would allow folks to use DrumTraqs along with the Six-Traq... they are like sisters/brothers![]()

I have a bunch of questions I'd like to ask about this one but will save for another day. It's definitely put the C back in OSC! but I'm in my element again trying to get creative with the limitations.

I have seen this with other synths in bitwig sometimes the duplicate tracks crashes the audio engine with previous osc synths so far I've been adding new instances manually without issue of project. I do suspect there are some plugin issues around having program link enabled and the trying to adjust parameters so I have been turning this off on new instances] Peter:H [ wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 1:40 pm Bitwig 5.2.4, SixTraq 1.0.2 CLAP.
I have tried to prepare a project from scratch for demonstration as Björn has aked for ... and now it gets ridiculous.
Bouncing changes preset
1. Added SixTraq to new Bitwig track
2. Menu > Init
3. Changed some settings of the patch to make sure the difference is clearly audible, one was open cutoff fully.
4. Bounced a short sequence of the changed patch to collect the changed sound as evidence.
5. But the bounce audio was again "Percussive Organe" original AND the patch of the synth was actually really reset by the bounce operation.

Duplication Track does reset the patch on the Copy
1. Added SixTraq to new Bitwig track
2. Menu > Init
3. Changed some settings to make sure the difference is clearly audible.
4. Did a "duplicate track" to get a copy of the initially changed track
5. Duplicate is reset to "Percussive Organ"

Summary: It does not even involve saving and reopening a project. State Saving seems to be broken completely.

I actually vote to change the synth for october in order to give the time to fix the bugs. Björn state above he needs time to look into all the DAWs and test it thoroughly.
And then let's have SixTraq in November.
What do you think?

I haven't tried VST3. I use CLAP in Bitwig. I mean I have spent again time yesterday ... I'm a little reluctant to do more beta testing VST. Bitwig co-invented CLAP, so it should work from their side.kraftraum wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 6:29 pmHappy OW-Holiday, Peter] Peter:H [ wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 8:18 amBitwig 5.2.4 on Windows 11.Full Bucket wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 8:07 am It is important to know which version of Bitwig because there was such a bug with CLAP in older versions...

And with none of the Nask Synths, which only come as Clap, there was any of the problems, I have described above.
There were no crashes. I described all problems I ran into above. all seem to be caused by buggy state saving in bitwig or the plugin. Interestig side note is that in the Bitwig forum on kvr I haven't seen complaints about problems with state saving in combination with clap. Yet this all is no evidence for anything, just observations.

Very sorry you lost your work. I think though you should try VST. Clap didn't work for me this month and at least once before in the past. So I just used VST. If VST also doesn't work, that would be different.] Peter:H [ wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 1:40 pm I actually vote to change the synth for october in order to give the time to fix the bugs. As expected, Bitwig has problems with the Six-Traq's Meta Parameters in CLAP. I also checked the CLAPped Six-Traq in Reaper, but it there it works fine.
I added some preventive measures (German: "Verhüterli"
) into the CLAP version of Six-Traq and named it Version 1.0.2A. If this helps, I will consider to put it into the other formats (VST2/3, AU, AAX) as well. So until now you guys only should download the new CLAP version...
Cheers, Björn

Thanks for confirming. Seems like it slipped the beta testers since the relase of the plugin in June.MilksterX wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2024 7:52 am ah yeah I can confirm now, the VST3 is fine, had one instance of the clap plugin in my project and it resets on loading

I wonder how it slipped everybody since the plugin was release a few days ago...Is nobody using CLAP voluntarily?!

Hm, I think you should talk with Bitwig. Bitwig is the co-inventor of CLAP. As such I would assume their DAW should be the reference implementation of the CLAP standard.Full Bucket wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2024 11:33 am As expected, Bitwig has problems with the Six-Traq's Meta Parameters in CLAP. And wow ... it seems I can now load my project successfully. So actually somehow the state saving worked with the old version but now even the reloading works with the new one.
NICE!!!!!! Thanks.
