That's what I thought - plus the Elektron link

Judging from the icons in the video still, top to bottom left to right, it's going to have:

a nanoloop grid
a duophonic bird vocoder
a microphone
the ability to slice and dice oranges and possibly other citrus fruits
wi-fi
sampling
positive automation but not negative
file export to desktop
a piano roll
headphones out jack
a cupcake with sprinkles
more sampling so I guess resampling
a cardboard box
and a speaker

Probably unlikely but I would love it if they had a sale on Live to coincide with the release of of 12.1 and Move.

Reaper can do everything Move does and more. It even has Move skin.
Have you tried it?

Black Friday's about 6 weeks away, so doubtful.

Ugj, I just got Push 3 for a ridiculously good price, and it's still missing:

A simple song arranger like MPC 2.

Time signatures in Scenes, or global control of the time signature.

Follow Actions

Tempo changes in Scenes

Etc. etc.

But yeah, lets start another cash grab to get people excited. :clown:

I do like Ableton, but damn if they don't "move" glacially.

If it really is a hardware sequencer (leak video YT) my wallet will be happy. No GAS for me at this point

Edit:
So it appears this isn’t it. Unless maybe they did go with that design. :?

Sincerely doubt that's anything more than some end users weird mock up. I'm not even that convinced Move is going to be hardware.

probably right.....They have kind of missed the mark a lot with Push, so lets see what atrocity they bring out next. Akai is pummeling them in the hardware realm thus far. Live is a good program, and its a low down dirty shame they havnt just put out a direct competitor to MPC but better. At least NI tried with Maschine. Live ticks all the boxes with the software, but they really suck at hardware and how to translate that software into hardware. Like damn, do a 16 pad hardware with a touch screen and offer full standalone effects/instruments/SSD storage/linear and clip views for arrangement. I dont know, do something

My final prediction:

It will be a mini Push standalone groovebox with mediocre battery life that connects to Live with some Live controls and project export to Live, and it will take them forever to update it with features that mysteriously aren't there from the get go. Out of the box features will be:

-4x4 pad grid to align with the Live drum device
-on board mic to sample into the on board drum device
-no way to sample directly by line in to the device, as it will rely on USB/WiFi to Live or a memory card
-some basic synths and effects, but not full blown Live synths and effects
-clip launching using the 16 pads, with perhaps a knob to change tracks or choose scenes
-a small screen with 8bit graphics to help navigate projects
-knobs for automation and various controls
-$599 price tag

Didn't Ableton already do a hardware version of Live?
