If you save a preset in BC-Remote, the set parameter values are also saved. When this preset is loaded, it overwrites the current values state of the plug-in. Can this behavior be controlled or disabled? Maybe I missed something in the manual or didn't understand it correctly...

When switching in BC Remote from one preset to another is there a way to prevent BC Remote sending MIDI values to the choosen plugIn in the DAW?

I don't think you can disable this, as it is definitely part of the design: many people use it to remotely load plug-in configurations thanks to Remote Control presets. Also if you don't do that you cannot keep both in sync.
Can you maybe tell me more about your workflow and why you would need to disable this?

I want to adress 3 Layers of my virtual MIDI Controller (Touch Portal) to Spire Synth (Reveal)
which takes about 150 MIDI CCs. The way I prefer to do this is the MIDI learn function inside
of Spire Synth. I don’t want to realize this using Sonar DAW envelopes in MIDI lanes or ACT.
As you can see in the following photos, I divided the Spire Synth interface into three areas and programmed a Touch Portal "layer" for each.
- Main-View
- FX/EQ-View
- ARP-View
I also created three BC-Remote presets for these three layers

Oh, what bad luck, if I switch back and forth between the three BC remote presets, then the original Spire preset is lost and my whole idea is ruined
AD NOTE - one day later:
Hmm, as I experienced today, it doesn't always happen that the Spire preset is overwritten...? Sorry, I'm chaotic

This behavior is indeed expected, as when switching presets the Remote Control also sets the values for all controllers. It is maybe a silly question, but why not use several instances of the Remote Control plug-in instead of just one with different presets?
