btw how do I tell which ones are Synthmaster One banks?
Also the scroll bar is working backwards on Mac with my Magic Mouse 'scrollwheel' function (I have so called 'natural scroll mode' disabled because it is horrible but Synthmaster seems to be using that mode still)

I tried 3 times to export the audio from a preset I made with some notes playing in the DAW and it seems to work, but then it crashes Cakewalk right after it finishes exporting. There's no error message, the DAW just goes poof..
The preset sounds cool though
, just two layers with some granular stuff going on.
Maybe it’s just the DAW having an issue.

The Export bank dialog opens up, but not for Import bank.

Thanks for this. I couldn't get the official SM3 release working in Cubase until I ran the standalone executable first like you mentioned. I tried all of troubleshooting stuff listed in this thread and nothing was working. I don't normally use it in standalone so I wouldn't have thought to try that but sure enough it's working now after running the standalone right after installing and then running it in Cubase.kv331 wrote: Tue Sep 17, 2024 6:51 amWorkaround: Run the standalone version first. It is going to download expansions. Then Cubase should not cause any issues.ramseysounds wrote: Tue Sep 17, 2024 6:35 am I can confirm that. Try to load and I just get the whirry wheel

There's an option to reverse scroll wheel behaviour in "Settings>User Interface". Did you try that?aMUSEd wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2024 9:55 pm Also the scroll bar is working backwards on Mac with my Magic Mouse 'scrollwheel' function (I have so called 'natural scroll mode' disabled because it is horrible but Synthmaster seems to be using that mode still)

On my Mac run 13.6.4 , that option works for the main synth windows but not the preset browser.Olnium wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 3:27 pmThere's an option to reverse scroll wheel behaviour in "Settings>User Interface". I am going to address that in the next update. I received the same issue from other mac users as well. I figured the way to read the mouse scroll setting on MacOS (it's either normal or natural). So, listbox / scrollbar controls will behave according to that setting on MacOS.rjv3 wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 4:35 pm On my Mac run 13.6.4 , that option works for the main synth windows but not the preset browser.

Latest revision 15544, trying to import one of my own SM2 presets as a layer, and the error message makes absolutely no sense.
This is a local .smpr preset file, why would it even need to check for preset banks? Why would this be an error causing the import to fail instead of just a warning that still lets me import the layer?
Also after this error the import function does nothing anymore and fails silently, and trying to close the SM3 window crashes the entire DAW. not good

Guys, another UX improvement that is in my todo list for SM 3.1 is replacing menus to select waveforms/wavetables/samples with browser windows. What are your thoughts on this? Many users said that they don’t like drill down menus

Yes, drill-down menus aren't very convenient to use. But could you show how these browser windows might look? Just to make sure it doesn't accidentally get even worse =))) A prototype image would be enough.kv331 wrote: Sun Oct 06, 2024 2:39 pm Guys, another UX improvement that is in my todo list for SM 3.1 is replacing menus to select waveforms/wavetables/samples with browser windows. I will definitely do that. Won't release it without user feedbackgussent wrote: Sun Oct 06, 2024 3:16 pm But could you show how these browser windows might look? Just to make sure it doesn't accidentally get even worse =))) A prototype image would be enough.
