Installed the sampler's newest version. Now I can add it as a VST with no problems and do some basic things. But when I try to load a soundbank or save a performance, it crashes.

Post

@Kattila - the crash you reported should be fixed now. Thanks for the report.

Performances load without recalling FX parameters for Delay Sync mode, Delay and Reverb Low/High Cut. Checked the saved Performance xml and while all FX parameter values are present, they don't appear to be loaded from the file.

Tested with TX16Wx 3.6h Pro and TX16Wx 3.7.0beta 7240.1205 Pro
Reaper 7.26 Windows 10

@Collusion - verified and fixed.

Thankyou! :D

From further testing, the Delay Sync issue is still present...

Nice job on the Convolution Reverb, especially the low CPU usage, though the Gain setting could have more lower range to handle normalized impulse files; these tend to be VERY loud.

@Collusion - ah, a slight UI glitch when you have both sync and split turned on. Fixed.
I also made the CVerb gain dial a bit more sensitive in low range. Not sure if it helps. Try it.

We're moving towards gold release of 3.7. All you being kind enough to test the beta builds, if you have any issues you've observed, or any remaining feature or usability requests, I'd really like to hear them as soon as possible. Linux testers, please let me know if there still are blemishes remaining.

Having issues getting it to work on REAPER on Arch Linux (VST/VST3/CLAP). I should have everything installed, I think. But it simply doesn't scan successfully. I don't suppose anyone has insight into fixing this?

Post

I tested in Reaper and Waveform 12. In both cases the vst3/vst/clap were scanned, but failed to load.

EDIT UPDATE: The problem seems to be with where the Vital plugin is located. Since it doesn't come with an installer, I manually put it in ~/.vst3. Moving Vital to /usr/lib/vst3 along side TX16wx allowed both plugins to load.

That still isn't right, and if a solution were to be found a lot of peoples' lives would be easier. :)

The problem definitely involves a conflict between Vital and TX16Wx.
Moving the Vital plugin out of vst3 allows TX16Wx to load.

This has been confirmed by other users in the Reaper/Linux forum.

I'm not saying the problem is with TX16Wx, but that there is some sort of conflict.
