Zoom R16 and Arturia Keylab Essential mkI as controllers - Problems

Fed up with mouseclicking etc., I thought I'd give controllers another go.

I have an old Zoom R16 that theoretically should do the job, and in MCU mode it generally works fine: jog wheel, faders, transport ... basically 3 out of 4 essentials features for me. But Pan controls don't work. No reaction at all when I turn the pan knobs on the R16. Has anyone been able to get this to work in Waveform? Any suggestions how I might make it work? Writing/editing a script?

Then there's my Arturia Keylab Essential 61 mkI. It's in the control surfaces list in Waveform, so that looked promising, and everything works fine ... except the master fader doesn't work properly. I got everything (?) else working thanks to tips in an old thread here. Basically select Arturia Keylab in Waveform's list of controllers, select pickup mode and MCU in device settings in Arturia Midi Control Center (default settings for me), and MIDIIN2 as input device and Keylab Essential as output device (not MIDIOUT2, as one might expect). I guess I can live without the master fader, but tips to make it work would be welcome.

Latest version of firmware in both cases. Waveform 13.
