I don't think they'll come close to breaking even with what it's costing them to update since they've literally called them legacy products etc. No one is going to buy their old line up over their newer products with resizable GUI's and modern interfaces. Plus putting a new GUI would be near the first goal if new sales of 15 year old plugins was the reason.

Their strategy is to not piss off every last person the way NI does with deprecations, but obviously it's not working for everyone.

Nomad are dealing with it entirely differently, and painfully upgrading their lineup. They also are not owned by a conglomerate that is more interested in repackaging the code for their hardware MPCs. Plus being in stark contrast to UAD and Waves is a fine idea on how to gain market share.

I don't think coding ""Transfuser 2 - FX combo box now populates with the name of effect preset"" is costing them a whole lot of money. :hihi:

Well they're still selling the old line up on their site with GUIs designed for 2005 specs:

Vacuum for $79.99, Loom II for $99.99, Hybrid 3 for $99.99 and so on. So if "no one is going to buy their old line up" they're wasting their time and efforts adding VST3 and current Mac specs.

It would be a goal for a competent company. No one is asking for a DSP rewrite, just GUIs for modern monitor resolutions. Not rocket science as Nomad is proving.

Nomad is not owned by a conglomerate that is more interested in profits than anything else.

Looking forward to the full updated package, whatever it is we get. Was a bit disappointed they took the clipper off the Pulse Tec EQ, but anyhow, nice to have oversampling.

Integral bundle was my first big bundle purchase back in the day and I still use them.

I came close to selling the Integral Bundle at the start of the year, so glad I didn't now.
Just discovered yesterday after a Windows 10 reinstall that the new Analog Mastering Tools and British Bundle had been updated (Knew about the Magnetics bundles and EQs already).

I don't have the full integral bundle installed, will add them back to my collection as they are updated. Really looking forward to the BlueTubes updates in particular, always loved the interface on those ones.
Plug & Mix updates on the way too, noice.

V2 is here.
By the looks of it, theres no improvement to the sound, as in a more faithful emulation or general sound quality improvement? Can this be confirmed?
I bought british bundle 9 years ago and used to use it for a few years until i had the chance to mix a track in a soundproofed studio with some great monitors. Kind of put me off.
I got my hands now on all the 3 of waves version for free and got to say VEQ-4 is used a hell of lot. It is my go to musical EQ for sound design and group busses. As well as being so lush it seems to give the sound some lively energy.
It would be nice if the british bundle could stand up to the waves as NF seems a good company to support.

Has been for a year hence the thread title. There was an update to 2.1.0 in April of this year. Here is the Change Log:

The bundle is on sale at Nomad Factory for $19.99 right now and I think that's a steal. As I mentioned earlier everyone should try the demo first on their source material to see if they like the plugins or not. Don't take anyone else's word for how they sound.

At least the Nomad Factory plugins don't require bloat like Waves Central and things that run at startup, WUP, etc.

Yea after i posted this i sussed V2 hit in April. The email and new serial number i got from Nomad factory a few days ago made it sound like it had just been released that day. Its the first email i have had from for them in many years.
