Hi everyone,

the next plugin updates are in the works. You can download and test updated versions of Repro, Zebra Legacy and Presswerk.

ATTENTION:

One of the main reasons to post these betas now is to give Pro Tools users access to the native Silicon AAX versions.

These betas also contain CLAP versions, but please DO NOT use the Presswerk CLAP version yet. It's still actively being worked on; thus it should not be used for serious work yet.

The Zebra Legacy CLAP version is ready to go. But keep in mind that the CLAP parameter modulation feature available in Bitwig will not work per voice in Zebra, as its internal architecture predates CLAP by more than a century decade. It simply isn't suited for CLAP's per voice modulation.

One more small caveat: Presswerk's two-channel layout poses some special challenges, so we could not include the key control feature there.

Some noteworthy improvements and fixes:

Repro-5 now supports MPE, so go grab your MPE controllers and give it a good spin.

If you are on Windows and use the system's UI scaling feature, please have a look at dialogs (e.g. the preset save dialog) and let us know if something looks incredibly odd. We just fixed an oopsie that led to dialogs inflating way beyond what was expected with scaled Windows UIs.

* Fixed: Presswerk's sidechain feature was broken in the VST2 version
* Fixed: Repro's distortion effect could produce audible aliasing
* Fixed: some Repro hiccups in FL Studio (freezes when selecting presets and funky LFO clock behaviour)
* Repro got two more modulation slots
* Repro's FX panel dynamically matches the signal flow

Awesome! But wait... no MPE support for Presswerk? When is it getting pitch bend and aftertouch? I need to feel my compression.
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice to see an update for Zebra, thanks for this work, once again. Looking forward for Zebra 3 now :)

ZebraHZ now loads incredibly fast, just instant. These plugins seem to be nearly perfect now. Will last forever.

Presswerk and Repro need a lot more TLC before we can actually release them. But we thought it would be better to put them out in the current state to give people back AAX on Apple silicon, as well as some of the long awaited goodies, e.g. virtually aliasing free distortion in Repro-5 (<- @zerocrossing)

Do you have any known issues with the CLAP versions? I just wanted to try anyway, but I cannot even load it in Bitwig (but ZebraHZ CLAP loads):

The Repro and Presswerk CLAP versions should not be used yet, as they are work in progress.

Zebra's CLAP version should work without issues, though. We have them loaded in Bitwig almost every day over here, and have never seen such a message.
Maybe try to rescan the CLAP plugins in Bitwig. If this doesn't help, please contact our support, so we can dive deeper.

Sweet news regarding extra two more modulation slots in Repro! BTW is this thing for both Repro synths?

Thanks πŸ™ That's perfect news! I was purchased this synth one week ago. Really great synth! And the sound is excellent!

Have you been able to solve this by now? Did a plugin rescan help?
If not, which version of Bitwig are you using, and which version of Windows?
We cannot reproduce this over here, so any additional details would be welcome.

I remember the Repro's highpass filter audio demo Urs posted a while ago where it screamed like crazy, i wonder what happened to that?

Great to see support for AS-native AAX, especially for Zebra (finally!) :)

I have checked the Save Preset dialog window using FL Studio 24 on Windows 11 at all available Windows UI Scaling settings available to me (from 100% through to 350%) via a native 4K display.

All the below plugins dialog windows are now scaling correctly.

Presswerk 1.1.6 public beta 16742 Win
Repro 1.1.3 public beta 16742 Win (both Repro-1 and Repro-5)
Zebra2 2.9.4 public beta 16742 Win
ZebraHZ 2.9.4 public beta 16742 Win

I also took the opportunity to likewise test the same for the recently official released updates for ColourCopy, Twangstrom and MFM2. Again, all dialog scaling issues have been resolved.

All other remaining u-he plugins (ACE, Bazille, Diva, Hive, Filterscape, Satin), which previously had exhibited the same dialog window scaling issue on Windows 11, have also now been fixed as of their 'revision 16744' updates (downloaded via the "latest builds" links from the u-he website).

Great work again, guys. Thank you. :D
