Aptrigga3 Latency in Pro Tools

hi everyone
i am running pro tools studio 2024.6 and latest ApTrigga3
the plugin is always latent.
none of my other plugins have any delay compensation issues.
i can see ApTrigga changing the delay compensation reported values as I increase it's latency/quality but it just keeps getting more latent.

The expected behavior is that ApTrigga reports it's latency to the system and the system compensates for it and the result is that ApTrigga sample playback is lined up (in my preferred MIX mode, lined up very accurately)

I seem to remember this working better in the past but it's been a while.

Anyone else running Pro Tools and able to replicate this experience or offer guidance?

Currently just committing the track and then lining up by hand...
