Can someone please tell me what the highest time resolution is when zooming into a waveform using Blue Cat's Oscilloscope Multi?

Thank you in advance,

Thank you for your interest in our software. The max zoom currently shows a timeframe of 2 milliseconds in the Oscilloscope.

Thank You!

Is that 2 mS for the whole screen or 2 mS per division?

Post

That's for the whole screen. I think at max it's one ms per division.

Thanks for your replies.

I am demoing the Oscilloscope Multi. In Logic I have two tracks, each with a snare drum hit. The sample was copied from one track to the other so they are identical. Logic Tempo is set to 60 bpm which is one beat/second. The snare sample on the second track is offset in time by 1/2 beat or 500 mS. When I measure the time difference in Logic it does indeed show 500 mS.

I have an instance of Oscilloscope Multi on each track trying to measure this difference of 500 mS. Using Sync Mode = Flow, I can see and capture both snare hits by using the Freeze All button. The time difference between the start of the waveforms measures approximately 600 mS? What gives? I must be missing something important. Can you please outline the correct procedure for getting an accurate measurement. I have looked for help using the Oscilloscope Multi but there isn't much in-depth material to be found.
