It was an experiment with surprising sonic properties. But it usually takes me several weeks to finalise a filter model, and I simply hadn't had the time.

I'm just glad we're finally almost there with all those updates. Well, just some small things missing as per OP, and then we can throw everyone at Uhbik 2, Zebra 3 and things to come. Which I hope will include a HP filter for Repro at some point.

So nice to see the easy mpe settings and additional 2 mod slots. Thanks!

Thank you for all the updates!

I had a quick look at the new betas.

While the KC button does integrate well with Presswerk (although being very prominent here), Repro 1, Repro 5, Zebra 2 HZ and Zebra 2 Dark Eight, it does not with the DotEight skin in Zebra 2 and Zebralette - at least in Windows (10).

Not only does the KC seem to be misaligned, it also Looks different from the SAVE button next to it (e. g. regarding the edges). I believe this might be a scaling issue. Whereas the SAVE button is part of the MAIN panes, the KC button is an animated picture which scales differently from the background.

Hi,
My Bitwig main template has a lot of Zebra hz. I'm ok to rebuild it for the clap version. But is it going to be changed again soon ? (like Presswerk if I understand correctly). If so, I'll wait. If it's the "définitive", I switch.
Thanks.

Zebra's CLAP version is ready to be used.

Hi Tas,

I’ve been testing the latest plugins... Presswerk, Repro, Zebra2, and ZebraHZ under Pro Tools Silicon Native, and everything is running smoothly so far. I’m sure many will be pleased to see Zebra2 working natively in PT. I’ll keep testing and will let you know if I run into any issues. Great job!

Best,

Linux, Zebralette 3,Zebra 2 and Zebra HZ, clap and vst3 :

The midi table assignation doesn't allow to change the controller (only channel 1, control 1 is set).
I can change the parameter and the mode, type menu also displays (but only one element).
It's frustrating, because this new "last clicked parameter" looks awesome, but I don't want to map it to cc1 modulation ;-)

The workaround is to map any paramater with the desired cc in the graphical interface, then change the parameter in the list interface.

Oh, and it would be nice to update the paramater's values on the screen when modified by a controller.

The "last clicked control" option is not really new, has been there for ages. :)
Channel and controller are not drop-down menus, you click and drag the mouse to change them.
(yes, I know, it's weird that they act in a different way)

Oh. I never really used thos midi mapping. But discovered the "last clicked" in a recent thread about key control.
Nevermind, my workaround works and, as it is for me something new, it's a pleasent discover. I mean, OMG how usefull it is !

Post

But you don't need to use a workaround.
Just click and drag the mouse up or down to change the value of these two fields. It works the same way on Windows, Mac and Linux.

Yes.

Thanks I tried out repro5 and found no patch where I was able to get more than 70 percent cpu consumption without multicore.

When I first updated my old intel i7 5960x with 8 cores and overclocked to 5 ghz to the AMD 5950x with 16 cores, I was really surprised that the 10 years newer ryzen architecture performes much worse than the 10 years old intel in single core. I thought the intel was so good optimised because of the ringbus structure, but now both cpu perform well and have the same performance on single core. But I think the AMD could do better, because it was released 2022 instead of 2014
