I'm on Waveform 13. I add an LFO or other modulator by dragging it onto a plugin or expand the track and click the greyed out modulator symbol to open an LFO or other modulator. I proceed to assign it to values as described in the "Hidden Gem" video on the Tracktion Waveform Tips channel: click assign button, choose knob/value, turn knob to set area. The assignments tab shows the intended assignment, but it doesn't actually do anything. I do exactly as described, but although for instance the LFO is listed as assigned to Pan and I turn the knob to the extremes, nothing happens, not to visuals nor sound.
Can someone confirm they get it to work?
Any ideas what's wrong?

I just did a quick check and all works as expected. I then turned off Automation Read and the modifier stopped modifying. I didn't actually realise this before. Press H or turn on Automation Read in the transport control section (green box and arrow) and see if that works.
