Well worth it, especially for the sampler and vst host modules. And all the Poly functionality.

This might be different on Windows but on the MacOS version, the app isn't quite smart enough to delay installation attempts when you've got several queued up. But it has downloaded the installer that you can either retry from the app or install manually from the temp download folder it uses.

I don't think I've had a situation where it won't install at all if the installation paths are kosher.

So far the only add-on library that I tried but failed to install, in fact failed to download, is SampleTron. I even installed the big 200 GB max library (not sure I will use it but I will poke around). I am not installing the Miroslav Orchestra stuff, most of the drum libraries, the saxophone (bleah), or the weird keys library that has the accordion in it.

I want just a single plugin from them. The cute and little FabFilter ONE synth. But $50 for it is a bit too much. And I never saw it on second hand market.

IIRC, FabFilter usually discounts 25-30%. Maybe you’ll see it for $35 during Black Friday.

I have my eye on it too (but not for $50+).

It was $27 last November (Loot Audio), and $30-35 elsewhere. So maybe in a few weeks..
