now at Pluginboutique for €99, if you are in the EU....
seems not to be exclusive, so, perhaps other resellers will follow, with perhaps better pricing.

There are plenty of workarounds though. Just assign velocity to whatever parameter you want.kraster wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2024 10:46 am Still can't control the amp envelope with velocity
How is this most basic of features still not implemented?

Velocity available as modulator. You can control it. It seems they did it like in Serum.kraster wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2024 10:46 am Still can't control the amp envelope with velocity

How?
AMP level doesn't have a level control. Every other envelope in Current does. So you can assign the velocity to the level and it works but not the amp level because it doesn't have a level control.
The AMP envelope is effectively a VCA and envelope in one.
Besides why should I need a workaround for something that's arguably the most basic feature of any velocity control? ie. The ability for velocity to control level
I've tried workarounds like assigning envelopes to each engine's level control and leaving the main amp level as open as it gets.
Aside from being a total PITA it doesn't work.
You can even modulate the master output of the entire synth with velocity but that's no good because it's post fx.

It's available as a velocity SOURCE but there is no DESTINATION for the AMP envelope's level.
In Serum there is an AMP destination that controls the ENV1's (AMP ENV) amplitude. There is no such option in Current.
You have a Global Output Gain but that's Post FX.

It's pretty common.swilow11 wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2024 12:22 pm Just assign velocity to the volume of each oscillator. I don't think this is that uncommon.
Halion, Falcon, Serum, Avenger all have velocity to Amp envelope.
That saves you having to do individual velocity levels for every engine.
Just the collective output of the synth before it goes into the FX.
The weird thing for me is that every other envelope has a level control that can be modulated by velocity but not the amp envelope.

It would be cool if the wave shifter effect can also be polyphonic.

New update is fun. With Play View i looked on presets which i disliked earlier from another angle and many of them are quite nice and playable now.

It is also $99 in the US from PB with close to $5 in virtual cash. I think it is a decent price now for a V2 product. I am probably going to pick it up this time even though I don’t need it (haha); going to demo it.
I also really like that Minimal Audio basically said “yeah we made a mistake” with their launch silliness and did what the user community wanted. They get a big plus for that in my book.

I just hope the newest Current VST will launch on my system. Mac Sonoma 14.6.1. Plugin loads into multiple DAWs but will not render. Oddly, all Minimal's individual FX plugins load and render without issue. But not Current.
Put in a support ticket, never got a response. Lovely. One of my most used synths, just DOA.

Yeah, this is a nice update. It's a shame there's no option to change the colors. The purple theme puts me off using it, or is there a way to customize the appearance?
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
