Same story here. It’s pretty much what I was looking for in ableton and bitwig and was under my nose for over 10 years (uninstalled). I spent a weekend learning it and wrote a track in 2 days that I am finishing off now. Very very fast and enjoyable workflow.Beazlebug wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2024 10:12 pmSame here - I originally purchased FL back in 2002 (updated to Producer in 2010) always intall the latest version but never use it, but this time I've dived in a bit deeper and finally I get it!?liquidsound wrote: Wed Jul 10, 2024 5:53 pm I’ve been playing with this 2024 thing…

With ARA implementation FL Studio will be the king of DAW's!

I do have fun with the other DAWs I used so far, but with FL I'm experiencing a subtle joy in using it...stash98 wrote: Fri Aug 02, 2024 5:07 pmSame story here. FL is very powerful and deep indeed.
I just watched a video by Benn Jordan on some aspect of the FL and I was quite surprised at the power of the DAW (and was not even the 2024 version yet...)

Will be not happening in a very near future though...Kalamata Kid wrote: Fri Aug 02, 2024 5:12 pmWith ARA implementation FL Studio will be the king of DAW's!
It was stated in the IL forum that ARA requires a much tighter co-operation between the effect and the playlist (Arranger) than it is possible in the current FLS setup... therefore they have to first change the system to get it right and they said they especially are attaching great importance on "getting it right" ... so patience is king here...

I may need to get it. Scott told me to try it as I'm having problems with the latest update. It will not close and then acts weird so I pull up Task Manager and there are 6 of them running. The Browser is always defaulting to my previous project instead of the current one.

This recent '24 edition is the first edition since about v10 or so where I get windowing problems in Linux.
Otherwise it seems to run fine on Linux via WINE. No need to install MsCore Fonts either thank goodness.
I wish the installer wasn't installing Ms Edge RunTime stuff too, but oh well.
I still love FL Studio for the step editor.

witchcraftBETA 2
FL Studio - Ignore the Project's backup folder for command line rendering unless the /B option is used.
Ghost Notes - The Piano roll can now show Ghost Notes from other Patterns, if the Pattern clips overlap in the Playlist. To support this workflow there's a new Ghost Note 'Channels' selector on the upper-right side of the Piano roll window that you can use to decide what Channels show. Out-of-Pattern Ghost notes are open blocks.

Am I missing something, or is there no way in FLS for a built in plugin (like say Sytrus) to REMEMBER how you resized it, the next time you load it? Seems like a pretty basic feature to miss...
