I recently switched to Mac and I’m finding that with the “natural scrolling” set on (the default for the system), most plugins increase knob values when you do a two finger scroll up on the trackpad, but with u-he plugins the knobs decrease in value with upwards scrolling. A few others do this too but it’s backwards from most.
I checked in plugin preferences but nothing seemed to change this. Am I missing a setting?
Would be a shame not to be able to change this since u-he scrolling calibration for trackpads is the best of any plugins I’ve used. It’s just perfectly balanced for adjusting knobs/sliders with two finger scrolling.

i wrote a mail to uhe support a few days ago asking exactly the same, so ill just forward you the reply i got:
"We will tackle this at some point, it's just more complicated than it initially appears, because there are slight discrepancies within each product, we would have to take a few weeks and go through all the products and standardize them. It's just not something you can do on the side. But it's on our to-do list." (translated version)

Any news on this? Out of hundreds of plugins I have, nearly every single one scrolls the other direction now. So U-he plugins (and a couple other oldies like Omnisphere and Massive) are the only ones I need to use a scroll reverser for when I load the plugins.

We are currently reworking our mouse/mouse wheel/touchpad support.
This turned out to be much more complicated and time consuming than we estimated.
Uhbik 2 and Zebra 3 will be the first plugins with a new implementation that will also address this issue.

Good to hear. I do want to mention though that the U-He calibration on trackpad scrolling is excellent, pretty much perfect. Most plugins are a bit slow (a few like Serum and synapse are also great). U-He plugins are excellent just as is, only problem being they go backwards. Hoping Repro, Diva and Bazille get reversed.tasmaniandevil wrote: Wed Sep 24, 2025 5:17 am We are currently reworking our mouse/mouse wheel/touchpad support.

Do they need a whole reworking when they work so well? Is it not possible to just flip the direction?
I hope after the reworking they still work with the same speed/sensitivity as they do now.

You have no idea how many weeks we spent on this stuff. Once you start and want to get it right on all platforms and for all the different controls of a plugin, the nightmares start.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 2:09 am Do they need a whole reworking when they work so well? You can test it with the RC of Uhbik 2.0.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 2:09 am I hope after the reworking they still work with the same speed/sensitivity as they do now.
