Couple devices I've made recently:
Ambi is an ambient exploration device inspired by the Clock knob on the Chase Bliss MOOD pedal.
Gumroad link: https://snakeshaky.gumroad.com/l/ambi
And then this one has a lite (free) version and a deluxe version. Lushie. It's inspired by the H3000 microshifter presets to quickly get a nice wide, lush vocal or what have you.

deluxe link: https://snakeshaky.gumroad.com/l/lushiedeluxe
Currently working on a new one - an 8-bit chip tune synthesizer. Should be finished soon!

So that's Max9 released, dont know how long before it gets rolled into Live. I had been thinking that it might coincide with Live 12.5, but clearly not. Some interesting new stuff, especially the ABL nodes which look like they are basically Ableton devices inside Max
Plus some new Jitter video stuff for 3D meshes and effects, as well as improvements to the code editing systems for Gen, Javascript etc, and a Livecoding system via integrated REPL.
https://cycling74.com/products/max-9
Education pricing for students has gone up again, though, by the look of it, and no mention of educators at all. Now £90 a year when it had been £66 for me last year, and £35 only a couple of years before that. Reckon I'll go back to perpetual, as upgrade from my old Max6 or crossgrade from Live is only £199.

Yup- some very powerful modular stuff in MAX 9 now with engines of drift, roar and shimmer etc...impressive update I think from a first look, especially as you can convert to hardware or VSTs with RNBO etc
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I just gave up on my sub for RNBO last week, as it was doubling the annual cost to me. I never really used it because Gen still seems to be used for the majority of devices I thought would be fully RNBO'd up by now, like OWL and Daisy. And Pi5 support is still only 32-bit.
Might buy the perpetual if that device support improves, but I also have the sneaking suspicion that it'll eventually stop being a for-pay option, just like MSP, Jitter and Gen, all of which I bought only to see get integrated for free.

I am on MAX 8 and although there is some great stuff in this I will probably pass as £199 is quite a lot to up-grade and I don't use the Jitter stuff...maybe in a 50% off sale

appreciate it. just like with music, i love to make things but i'm so bad at promoting said things once they're complete. so i figured i'd make an attempt at getting some word out here. please do let me know what you think and if there's any features that you'd like added. i've already made a couple updates to it and i intend to continue doing so. i love the back and forth with customers. cheers and peace from latvia!worldfever wrote: Wed Oct 30, 2024 5:08 pmijo_audio wrote: Wed Oct 30, 2024 4:53 pm Couple devices I've made recently:

Web4Live is a web browser (called Thief) featuring audio output embedded into a M4L device.
You can use it to read Live’s online manual, watch boring gear reviews on Youtube, chat on the Ableton forum, search for drugs on Google and so on.
Since the device features audio output you can also sample into Live what comes out of this web browser.
There’s a few bookmarks/favorites builtin.
Downloading things from this browser doesn’t do anything afaik. It’s not meant to replace your web browser so don’t be pissed.
Next update will add features like (no need to request these by email
adding and saving bookmarks.
a quick sampling button that will do the hard work for you. For the time being you’ll have to set the recording by yourself, you lazy frog.
resizable window

I've been so busy with work and taking care of family this year I've barely had time to fire up Ableton 11 or Max 8...and now they're both one whole version ahead!
