Hit em up on their Discord and ask them to add ,they are quite receptive to suggestions and requests. Maybe I will

I thought the LFOs are polyphonic.

Is this true about monophonic LFOs? In my opinion this is a big drawback.

LFOs in most poly synths pretty much always depend on what target you set them to modulate. Some targets will force the LFO to become monophonic.

LFO to filter cutoff will almost certainly be polyphonic. LFO to an effects parameter (delay mix/reverb mix/ etc.) will almost certainly be monophonic.

Would be nice if the LFO can be configured to be poly or mono as you can get some great benefits for playing techniques if you force things to be monophonic. Same goes for envelopes. You can force a completely unique playing style if you force things to be monophonic on typically polyphonic targets (like filter cutoff).

Yeah, I'm not sure what I thought I was hearing, they do appear to behave in a polyphonic manner as expected.

I paid no attention to this last year, but it's a great instrument. The UI really does raise the bar in terms of efficiency and convenience, and the synth should probably have been called Rapid if that name weren't already taken.

The only downside is the lack of analog modelled filters.

Agreed on that. Some proper analog overdriven filters would be awesome.

OK, just bought. Didn't need (Phase Plant, Avenger etc) but the price (JJR Shop) was low enough to feel no guilt :-)
Its good- as others have said, very easy to use given the potential complexity, nice effects, good granular engine (and I got the 'Particle Pads' expansion, it was listening to the demos of this lured me in to buying Current!)
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

The new Waveshifter thing is pretty wild.

I love Current,so much fun and I’m happy to see a few more people getting it. I just wanted to say how I’m impressed by how efficient it is. Being disappointed that after the latest update, Avenger still is to much of a memory hog to actually use a single instance on my 8 gig MacBook without pushing the memory to swap. I thought I’d see how many Currents I could use and I was amazed to find I can have 40 Currents all playing, some with 32 unison voices, some with granular patches some with both playing chords, before the memory pressure goes into the yellow.

Wouldn’t $15 per month for 12x months be $180 regarding the RTO?

Yes.the give you every dollar back in credit, says here it take 14 months to accumulate enough credit to own Current outright.

Thank you! It would be very nice if we could apply the credit to the current price of Current v.2.0 at $99 rather than at $199, but this seems to be how all of the plugin makers do it (as mentioned earlier in this thread, Kilohearts).

I agree it would seem more fair that way. If I were in that position I would probably buy Current now on sale and put the credit toward Rift and other effects. Current is excellent and a lot of fun to use, I paid full price for it and it was well worth it to me.

I agree and I’ll likely wind up purchasing it on sale as well. It’s incredibly intuitive to play and sound design with. For the folks that have done RTO since the relaunch in November 2023, they should be at $180 credit, so a few more months to go to acquire it outright.
