AIR Music Tech announced today Open Beta 3 that brings macOS 15, Apple Silicon, VST 3 compatibility and improved Windows 11 to some of their most classic plugins, including Xpand!2, Structure, Strike, and Transfuser 2 but to name a few. We have taken your feedback from past Betas and made additional fixes and improvements.

This update signifies a major step forward in ensuring our legacy software continues to serve the creative needs of modern producers and musicians.

We at AIR Music Tech deeply appreciate the patience and loyalty of long-standing customers. We understand that the wait for Apple Silicon and VST3 compatibility has been frustrating for many of them. It was never a matter of forgetting our valued users but rather overcoming significant technical challenges that come with updating these beloved classic plugins for modern platforms.

Thanks Simon,
I already submitted this through the website bug report link a few days ago but haven't heard anything back.

When I download the Mac Version of Structure the file seems to be corrupted, I am getting an error saying "No Mountable File Systems" when I try to open the.dmg file.
https://cdn.inmusicbrands.com/air/2024/ ... cOS-GM.dmg

I have tried 2 different browsers a couple of times each, but at 30GB per shot I can't keep trying forever.
I was hoping to hear back from support before I waste another 30GB download, but haven't heard anything so far.

Other than that everything else seems to be working so far.

Still don't support plugin migration so anything made with the VST2 has to be remade with the VST3

Are they planning on GUI updates, or just getting them to finally work per VST3 spec now in 2024 ?
They don’t mention any updates related to the UI from what I can gather. Anyone in the know ?

Good ol' AIR dont mention any updates relating to the UI because they couldn't give a rat's arse what their customers actually want.
You want updates that address those issues, buy U-He or Tone2.

AIR Music Tech products are really the bottom-feeders of the virtual instrument world. I dare anyone to try using any of these uninspired plugins on a 4K monitor.

They inadvertently advertised that fact when they made the Pro Tools built-in plug-ins.
Nearly 15 years later, the Mix control is still broken in the Flanger and the Frequency Shifter only works in Upshift mode.

About Hybrid 3 (version 3.1.1) in Windows 10. After installation the factory presets weren't visible.

I had to manually copy the factory presets from
C:\Program Files\Air Music Technology\Hybrid\Presets to
C:\Program Files (x86)\AIR Music Technology\Hybrid\Presets

After that the factory presets were visible.

EDIT: A lot of the keyboard presets don't work in Hybrid 3.
EDIT 2 : After copying the "Content" folder via the same route it worked as it should.

Message to Air Music Tech : about Hybrid 3 in Windows 10, install svp also in C:\Program Files (x86)\AIR Music Technology\Hybrid

I kinda gave up on these ...But maybe there is hope!!??

I use and really dig , HYBRID 3 & Riser AND AIR FX...

...but got a Apple Silicon Mac.....and had to abandon them,
but now a glimmer of hope perhaps.

The Beta 3 works for me on Mac M2 without problems so far. I have nearly all of their older plugins and all seem to work fine. The GUI is very small and retro but workable. The Mac has a zoom that can enlarge the tiny windows. I have that on my mouse wheel and it helps.

I am very grateful that they ported to MacOS ARM. I do not understand the hate. Lets just hope that the good trajectory the company seems on now continues.
