hi, is there an easy way to import multiple soundbanks?

I've no clue about VST3, but with VST2, no, not only not an easy way, but just no way.
Every VST2 which properly supports soundbanks (*.fxb files) can only load a single soundbank into its memory. So does also Viper.
May I suggest to try VeeSTeeEx to wrap the VST2 version of it?
The main purpose of this wrapper is to add presets (and banks) management to any wrapped VST2 and give you super easy access to ALL presets available for a VST2.
E.g. for my demo version of Viper I've 14.721 presets easily to chose from.
Probably not super-easy to set up (one needs to read the manual - at least the first page),
but once done and banks and presets have been imported, you'll have all the imported banks and presets quickly available.

I think he means to import (and convert) multiple virus soundbanks. Unfortunately, no, you have to do it one by one.

How is it "easy" to choose the preset you need when there are 14,720 other presets that you don't need, hiding that one from you? It sounds like an absolute f**king nightmare to me.

Yes, it probably is - but less so with VeeSTeeEx.
If you're a 'I tweak my single needed preset from scratch' type, then VeeSTeeEx surely is something you won't miss.
But since Caine123 asked for import of multiple soundbanks, I'd guess that he was at least interested in having a few hundreds of presets. And this is where VeeSTeeEx could be helpful.
And it probably is even more helpful, if you would be a preset collector for whatever reason.
As Adam pointed out, I most probably misunderstood Caine's question though.
So I'll will return this topic back to Viper.

Yes it should, but dont forget to download the free virus waves so that viper can load the correct files.

is Mono-Retrigger not working?

Test: Set Voice Mode to Mono1(R), set a long Attack (eg. 100) and Release for the Amp envelope.

Now, when playing long single notes I would expect the VU meter to drop to zero when pressing a new key, but it does not.

Its working exactly like in the Virus (I dont know why they did it like that dont ask ). When you have a long release, and you press a new note, the attack starts from the value where the release was at the time you pressed the new key.
