Hmm, as a black guy I find this statement incredibly funny. Would you please explain how your farmer ancestors managed these farms please. While your at it could you explain what really happened on thanks giving please.
Well as a white guy I don't think it's funny at all. You jump out of left field, pull out the race card and bitch slap ol' whitey cracker with it, maybe because he looks like an easy target. Then what? I hit you back with the n-word or some other bullshit, and then what? What's the end result of all that? Fear? Anger? Hatred? Lynch mobs in the year 2005? It's neither me nor you, so why even go there?

On Thanksgiving 2004, I attended a charity dinner for veterans and their families, and donated a little money for guys wounded in Iraq. And no I don't have a clue about what *really* happened on the first thanksgiving.

if you talk about the hard work and honour of your early american ancestors in general you can expect to get called on it.

I understand where you are coming from, but none of bithead's cultural generalisations are built with any amount of social, historic, economic, or racial context[1]. You either have to assume he does know, and he's being a jackass for the happy of it, or he genuinely doesn't know, in which case there is no hope.

[1] America's ascendency over Europe wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that twice in half a century Europe fought wars that wiped out entire generations of working age males, and heavy amounts of economic infrastructure, fo example.
It's hard, but I think I understand most of what you said, even though you purposely talk like that to put people off. Yes I do know a little, but the whole England/Europe dissing thing was a sick joke aimed solely at Whyterabbit, in fact the whole thread is devolved into nothing but that, back and forth, over and over. And Valley, here you are discussing its merits as if it was some carefully laid out philosophy, and calling me vulgar names while you're at it. You should be ashamed. You're better than that.

Come one, come all, to the KvR forum, where people come running to attack you brutally and personally from all sides, if you even hint that T2 might not be all that. Way to promote your favorite music software.

I still don't get how the topic changed from T2 over to national issues, then to economy, and now RACE?

WHAAAAAAT

someones listening/watching to too much mainstream media. It sure does make people think about what they want them to. No wonder they call it television programming... PROGRAMMING..

You seem to be very proud of your history. I was wondering if you really knew about it. It seems you only want to talk about the "good" bits. Fair enough.

"Race-card" now that really is funny. History is history :hihi:

Oh by the way have a look at this http://www.rawmaterialsoftware.com/juce/ it might help with your predictions. You claim to be a programmer so this should make sense to you. Trackton is made of JUCE so these are the tools Jules uses.

Don't you people get it? It was a poke at Whyterabbit. DAMN! Did everybody take too many stupid pills today or what?

In my next post, I will describe how I invented velcro and finish off by outlining the process for cold fusion. We'll see how many curious replies I get.

Sometimes I start reading KVR threads I don't know of by starting at the last page.
Usually the folks are into rage and pissing each other off there.
Then I go to page 9, then 8, followed by 7 and so on. I can see slowly what the flaming discussion has evolved of

:D :hihi:

You should have seen my face when I clicked on "T2: Anyone else getting that sinking feeling?" and got some rage and discussion about blaxploitation or whatever...

Yes history is history. And no I'm not selective about it. Why is any of it "really funny" for you or me? You can unload your veiled racism elsewhere, thanks.

Read the OP containing the quote, and you will see it's all just a big joke. In fact this whole thread has become a big stink over nothing.

Amazing what bullshit people will jump on.

bitchhead quoth And Valley, here you are...calling me vulgar names while you're at it.

Oh dear he's at it again. What 'vulgar name' did big nasty Valley call you?

'Jackass'?

My, oh my, what a fragile little life you must lead.

Actually that should be

"Come one, come all, to the KvR forum, where you get to insult people for not agreeing that T2 might not be all, then accuse them of running to attack you brutally and personally from all sides"

Nope. I was replying to lowkey. No philosophy.
and calling me vulgar names while you're at it.
I didn't do that either. I set out two possibles. I didn't say which one I thought you fall into, as I have no idea. However, if you *do* know then you are being a jackass.

As for calling you vulgar names, as any child psychologist knows, there is a world of difference between "you are a" and "you are being a". Children are not "bad", they are "being bad". The former would be name calling, the later is a assessment of a current action.

Whether that assessment is valid is for you to decide. I have no idea, nor any great interest, in the level of your historic interest. I don't suppose you care that much about mine.
if you even hint that T2 might not be all that. Way to promote your favorite music software.
There's nothing like pulling out the fanboy card. It might be useful to reflect on the fact that a number of posters I've seen in this thread aren't even Tracktion users, so calling them Tracktion fanboys is fatally flawed. As for me, I probably am, but I really couldn't care less what you feel about Tracktion. If you like T2 that's great. If not, I hope Live or perhaps SX3 fits your needs better.
Someone shot the food. Remember: don't shoot food!

Yes, just trying to get in touch with my 'American' side...
