Are you running the latest version 3.0.4 ?

Also, did you try to import wavetables of samples? If so, try resetting the database, delete:

c:\users\public\public documents\synthmaster3\synthmasterwaveforms.wfdb
c:\users\public\public documents\synthmaster3\synthmastersamples.wfdb
c:\users\public\public documents\synthmaster3\synthmasterwaveformsfolders.txt
c:\users\public\public documents\synthmaster3\synthmastersamplesfolders.txt

So I uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh version completely (3.0.4) and cubase has now blacklisted both vst 2 and vst 3. Tried to reactivate but no joy as cubase gives a serious error warning. I can't be doing with all this just to get a synth working. Synthmaster 1 and 2 work fine.

Your system is in a state that caused this. If you could give more details about your past state I would be able to help you better.

To reset it completely, please do the following:

1. Delete C:/Users/Public/Public Documents/SynthMaster3
2. Delete all files under My Documents/Synthmaster3 except SynthMaster3LicenseKey.txt
3. Run your DAW, reset blacklist if necesary

Cubase (or any other DAW) does NOT have any such showstopper known issues so far. Just to be on the safe side, I followed steps 1 and 2 above and then ran Cubase 13 on Windows 10 (W10 or W11 doesn't matter)

That's a great review. Congratulations. I also love that they included example sounds which really show case SM3's abilities.

Too bad that the next thing people see is that boring landing page when they click the "Learn More" button.

This is EXACTLY what I was seeing after my first install of SM3 (mini rant here):

My experience was ever so slightly different than yours - but my "movement" thru the presets was identical.

Did a slow climb up (via keyboard/mouse) a set of presets and all I would hear is the default SM3 present with the drum loops etc regardless of which preset I landed on.

Even cleared everything and went to the "init" preset and same thing happened.

Messed with this for more than it was worth and then finally uninstalled it.

This thing is clearly not ready for primetime yet.

Just because it is happening for you does not mean it is happening for the other users. Otherwise we would be flooded with support emails (There are currently 8000+ distinct registered users who installed SynthMaster 3 on Windows and MacOS) Something is clearly different in your system. I tested many times, but can not reproduce so far on neither Windows / MacOS, VST2/VST3/AU. So I am totally clueless at the moment
