Happy for you. But I live by different values. And creating annoyance and useless cpu/ram usage to customers is not a value I believe in. Especially when its proved that it doesn't actually protect anyone from anything. The only real outcome that ilok have is inconvenience and frustration for the customers.

Some logical stretch/jump you did there. The assumption you are making is wrong. In reality, the cost is higher with ilok. Both for the company and for the customer. Also sales suffers too - that's why smart companies ditched it. And the smartest ones never implemented it.

But you have all the right to feel entitled to assume whatever you want, if that's helping you.

iLok for a plugin that is normally sold for money, but is free for 2 weeks, after which it will be sold for money again. Take it or leave it, no? (I guess many will leave it, I already paid cash money for it)

I did see a page with lots of free stuff, i assume they all require ilok too...? It came from their site, so not just demo versions as I understood
