Maybe a rhythmically gated synth/pad, i.e. something where the reverb can fill the space. Blackhole is fairly static in the stereo field, whereas with Cascade one can dial in the density and create something that bounces around in the stereo field, i.e. has a lot more movement, whilst still having the spooky reverse effect. It takes a while to decipher the parameters.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

Liquidsonics and 2C Audio may have some of the very best reverbs, but both require a bit of investment (and 2C Audio is in feudal land). Eventide's BlackHole, and Zynaptiq's Adaptiverb are among the most popular creative reverbs.

Audio Modeling Ambiente Room Simulator is the best.

It's a different kind of reverb, because it actually simulates specific placement of instruments within a real acoustic space. You can place multiple instruments/tracks in the room and control all of them from any Ambiente instance.

THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Looks very impressive.

Wish there was some way to look at more details (such as a manual) without having to sign up by creating an account.

Brainworx Aura is my go to now.

The fact they cater for the visually impaired ( I'm a little colour blind ) gets my vote from the off - curse you Logic Pro. Will demo.

I have Liquidsonics Seventh Heaven Pro and Cinematic Rooms Pro which are really all the reverbs that anybody needs. However, with my loyalty discounts and black friday sales I'm going to be very tempted by Liquidsonics Tai Chi. I'm going to have to demo it first just to satisfy myself that it gives me something different but, from the videos, it may be the twist of creativity that could be quite interesting.

Tried the highly sought-after set (from Lxxxxxxxxxc) which include the Bricasti. Surprisingly, they sound flat, unnatural and colored. Especially the woodwind instruments cannot breathe when the sound is so "coated" with a sheen.

However, Samplicity number 7 has the much more natural natural sound. Has all the useful necessary features and making it very easy to use!

I'm really surpise no one mention TC Electronics VSS3 from the Legendary System 6000 and the improved version VSS4 HD native

I own way too many, use far too few of them to justify it. Generally I think you can do 90% of reverb duties with just about anything, if you know how to tweak it properly. Including the native reverbs in your DAW (Ableton in my case, more than adequate stuff in there).

Think I'm going to prune my plugin folder soon. My last project was 100% Valhalla Vintage Verb for reverb, and it worked perfectly for all use cases. Beside that, the only other reverb I care to keep around is my hardware Quadraverb.

I'll definitely check those out, I got both of those on sale a while back and forget that I own them :P There might be a lesson there....

I tend to reach first for Cinematic Rooms or Tai Chi lite, or Supermassive, but there's certainly nothing "wrong" with my other verbs, including the ones that come with Logic. I'm not all that picky, I hear differences in verbs but I normally can't say this one is better or worse than another. I do get that some blend in a bit better (that whole "transparency" thing) if you are after a more natural space sound.
Yeah...Been spending time trying to tame Chromaverb, and really like it.

Using the ones in BYOME/TRIAD also have the advantage of modulation (For non-Bitwiggers), and TRIAD also gives multibandability :tu:

imo nothing beats Seventh Heaven for 69 bucks (i got it for 50 with edu discount!), though if money is no bar then Eventide’s BlackHole Immersive is a real earcandy, but can’t really fathom that 500 bucks pricepoint.

The BF sales make Tai Chi pretty irresistible, IMO. I picked it up last year and really like it. Lustrous Plates is really nice too. I talked myself into getting all of them last year.

I did demo lustrous plates last BF as it was very reasonable with all my loyalty bonuses but when I compared it to the plates I already had in 7H Pro I couldn't really justify it as they didn't seem to offer something I haven't already got.

I may find I feel the same way about Tai Chi but I'm hoping that it offers a bit of creative "reverbery" that I haven't already got.

With loyality I've got the Immerssive for $47 :D
