can lock various settings in arp and chord modules but I can’t find any way to lock them on. Should probably request it on Minimals Discord,would be useful to have.

I agree and I’ll likely wind up purchasing it on sale as well. It’s incredibly intuitive to play and sound design with. For the folks that have done RTO since the relaunch in November 2023, they should be at $180 credit, so a few more months to go to acquire it outright.

Nothing like the opportunity to pay $140+ for something one could buy outright for $100 right now!

That is funny, I was just using it tonight and got a nice chord/strum pattern going and was trying to change through pre-sets to see what sounded best and couldn't find a way to lock it...it definitely needs this (as the chord/strum function is so good!)

I am more and more impressed with this synth, I thought it was just going to be another Serum/Vital...but its its own thing, very cool fx, nice workflow...top synth- glad they found a 'normal' way to sell it and a fair price...should get a lot more people on board.

Same here... had a nice chord set going and then switched presets. That's when I couldn't believe there wasn't a lock.

To be honest, I feel the same way about Current. I'm not the "build a patch from scratch init" synth person. I know some synthesis but I'm definitely not an expert. I'm more of the edit a preset type of person and Current nailed that workflow imo. I've never made good sounding presets this fast with other synths.

Good news, got this reply...

The Strum can be locked by right clicking it. For the chord /arp sections, We have add this feature to our request list, and we'll try to include this in the next update.

Just purchased and digging in.. can't believe the lack of MIDI CC control! The XY pad is amazing but I need to be able to play and record these movements via iPad XY pads. Yes I could use Smart Controls in Logic but that would lock those MIDI CCs exclusively to Current. In U-He synths there are two global CC modulation sources, and if there are particular controls you want to assign to their own CC you can do that too. Can't be 'playing' this awesome synth with a mouse!

Why did they make the XY pad area a circle rather than a square? Does that limit the range (no high values of X with high values of Y?)?

Other than that, the double XY pad seems like it might be convenient with something like Roli Airwave- controlling four parameters at once with one hand. Or one hand on XY pad and one toe on one XY pad (two toes on two XY pads if you're great at balancing meticulously on your butt and don't mind potentially breaking things...).

Yes I guess, I can map them to my iPad XY pads CC's but then I can't use those iPad XY pads / CC's for anything else.

Oh just 1 more month to go. Then I can buy Current for $199. Yay! I’m so lucky to be able to buy it at full price. Indeed an honorable privilege for their most valued customers. Best investment ever. Highly recommended developer. Two thumbs up.

Anyone care to share which reverbs they've had most success with using in place of Current's crappy one? Guess Valhalla Room might be the obvious choice.

You can get Minimal Audio Current 2 for ~76$ at Audiodeluxe, if you put one of the UVI Falcon Expansions in the cart. There seems to be a glitch in the UVI 2 for 40% / 3 for 50% off system.
