I have V Collection 8 and it's $99 for me to upgrade to X.
It's $49 to get Pigments 5.

I do have a few other products, such as Delay Tape 201, Efx REFRACT, Tape Mello-Fi, and Filter MS-20, but I'm not sure if that helped out the prices at all.
I get a bit annoyed by Arturia’s variable upgrade pricing.
I have FX Collection V already and they’re offering a crossgrade to V Collection X for €99. But I already own V Collection 9 so why am I not seeing a better upgrade offer to X than the offer someone gets who doesn’t own any version of it? Sod it, will wait for 11.

It kind of reminds me of IK Multimedia. Anyone can just buy Total Studio Max 4 for only $149 now, even if they have none of their previous products. But then the people that do have some of their products (like myself) don't get any better of a deal. I have Total Studio Max 3.5, but it's the same price to get the latest version.

The cheapest I can get it is with my account's Jam points, which brings it down to $104.99.

The jam points seem worthless to me. TRackS 6 Max is on sale for $99 but the price technically requires a coupon code and you can’t spend jam points to reduce the price further. Total Studio Max 4 can be purchased at the sale price and as mentioned jam points can be applied to reduce the price. However it includes TRackS 5 Max not 6. :bang: :bang:

APD’s rewards wallet is similarly worthless because the “dollars” cannot be used to reduce the prices below their base prices.

IK are next level when it comes to weird customer loyalty upgrade pricing.

Is there somewhere online where it shows what was added for v4 of Total Studio Max? It's kind of pain to sort it out and see what you're really getting as a benefit when upgrading. One thing I know was added (that I don't have yet) is ToneX Max.

I thought there was something like that online for when I made the jump to v3.5. I still have the list of the items that convinced me it was worthwhile to upgrade.

This is what I got for $69.99 (after using Jam points) to upgrade from Total Studio 2 MAX to v 3.5.
I thought it was quite the deal. 8)

Yeah I have V Collection 9, FX Collection 4, Pigments, Analog Lab Pro and some individual instruments and effects not in those collections. It's showing me $99 for the upgrade to V Collection X. No discount for owning all that. Screw it I'm going to wait for 11 also.

It's showing $49 for W495 in the cart, is there some sort of coupon you're supposed to enter to make it free? Thanks.

The coupon code (sopc-jymj-ejxg) is embedded in the link, but there's a message that says, "Coupon usage limit has been reached. Please try again after some time, or contact us for help."

FWIW, it was free for a while last year and free with purchase earlier this year at Plugin Boutique, so you should be able to find a second hand license pretty cheap.

It was there right in front of me and I didn't notice it.

Thanks Peter, but I'll pass since I am not a guitarist - ToneX MAX seems to be the main addition.
Syntronik stuff doesn't interest me much, and I don't need a few more basses and drum kits.

In my experience, whenever I upgrade an Arturia product, my existing licenses aren't surrendered. So i upgrade for $99, and sell off my previous version for a respectable amount. My upgrades end up heavily discounted while Arturia still receives the full asking price. Seems like a smart system to me.

Edit: Used Arturia software sells quickly, and transfer is instant, so I don't consider it a hassle at all.

Good to know thanks. I didn't realize you could sell the previous version after you upgrade. I'll definitely go that route then.

@UncleE - Will JRR shop have UAD Opal on sale like it is at the UAD site now ($39 at UAD)? Thanks.

Before you do...!

Pretty sure it's crossgrade yes, but upgrade no, for retaining licenses to sell.
Until forever fades away.
