I really have liked the UI a lot personally.

I don't like it, but for me it's at least useable. Once you've got your head around where everything is it's fine.

It's an underrated synth.

I have a few synths, with my favorite being NI's Massive X. I had never heard of SPC Plugins. However after reading a few reviews I took advantage of the unbelievably cheap AudioPlugins deal. My expectations weren't too high, given the price. What I quickly discovered though was that this thing sounds amazing and is incredibly flexible/powerful. Can't believe I had never even heard of it! Granted that UI is perhaps not the greatest, but given what it can do I am more than prepared to make the effort. Nice work SPC Plugins and thank you both AudioPlugins and the good folk on KVR for making me aware of the deal!

I got a new Mac, and I accidentally installed the Intel version on my Mac Studio. It loaded in Bitwig, and I had presets. I went back to the website and installed the apple silicon beta version. It installed fine but there are no presets. I even tried to save a preset, but it does not show it. I confirmed a Documents/ArcSyn folder with all the presets.

Any idea?

Yes me too in both Logic and Live (AU and VST3).

I found this in the manual, but can't find GarageBand folder as I uninstalled it. So, any idea where this symlink must go:
"ArcSyn runs in GarageBand 10 but won't load any factory programs due to 'sandboxing'. A workaround for this is to move (or symlink) the ArcSyn folder from ~/Documents/ArcSyn to ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.garageband10/Data/Documents/ArcSyn. This will make presets load and save correctly."

Don't know about GarageBand but this should not be necessary in Logic or Live - I have both the AU and VST3 loading presets fine from the documents folder.

I run all my hosts with Full Disk Access enabled, maybe it's that?

I don't know about Mac OS, but if it is similar to Linux, then it would have already access rights to the Document folder! It is like in Home folder/partition or section.
I really don't want to give any program full Disk access (especially the system section). I will contact SPC support and see what they say.

I'm running the latest version of ArcSyn in the latest version of Logic on an M1 Mac Mini and it crashes every time I instantiate it. No exceptions.

It crashes Logic when I tried to register my license but then when run it again it showed me the initial preset only. I didn’t play around as I wanted to see what happens in AB Live which run there fine but with the initial preset only. Both AU and VST3 are the same.
I wrote to their support and will see what they say.

New Mac Beta available. Works properly for me now,has presets and authorization works. Vst that is,didn’t try the Component version

4.04 Beta works beautifully under Logic Pro M2 Mac, thank you SPC plugins. Amazing presets.
