(I had a nice little acidic post all prepared and then I realised that I don't even need to participate in this. I'll just keep on learning about Tracktion and see what the next release holds. No big deal really and if any of you guys feel like a collaboration at some stage in the near future then I'd love to have a go. That kind of stuff is always fun..unlike most of this thread)

Hey now! Let's not turn this into american bashing. I'm not taking the side of the Troll or anything. Lets just say that he doesn't represent all of us.

This wasn't there before! Really.
Dude, you've just gone and edited your entire post and now my reply makes no sence. Oh well...audiobot202 wrote:(I had a nice little acidic post all prepared and then I realised that I don't even need to participate in this. Yeah...that's kind of why I edited it. I've lived in the US and by and large I liked the people I came across. I love my home of Australia so I'm not in any hurry to go back...but your country has a lot to offer. It's easy to bash on forums, but harder to hold back. I had a think about it and decided the bashing was not for meSuperFly76 wrote:This wasn't there before! Really.Dude, you've just gone and edited your entire post and now my reply makes no sence. Australia huh? I have a warm spot in my heart for Aussies. I have been living in China for the last few years and I have quite a few Aussie friends here. They like to razz us (wife & I) every once and a while about being american but they love us. We got teased to death during the Bush/Gore election.audiobot202 wrote: Yeah...that's kind of why I edited it. I've lived in the US and by and large I liked the people I came across. Yes..I live right down there along the fatline:

I had made dinner last night and noticed that my piece of steak looked remarkably like Australia...so hey, what else would I do but photograph, edit and upload it to the web?

Ah, intelligent discussion at last...I prefer the tender juiciness of Western Australia without spice or condiments myself, really speed up my render of T project; new south whale, on the other hand, could always use a bit of salt while the coast of Townsville I always keep for last, sometime with the addition of a drop of Tabasco; a great enhancement to the enjoyment of Tracktion piano roll if you ask me.
I don't know why, but I'm suddenly very hungry...

I quite enjoy Australia and the United States both. I'd be lying if I didn't say that Canadians can have some anti-American sentiment at times, but those of us with some intelligence are aware that what we really don't like is the US that's portrayed by its very own leaders. Still wonderful places and people there.
Now Australia... that was a place. Took a 6-week trip there and backpacked (I use that term loosely, because while we had backpacks and lived a hostel lifestyle, it was actually a road-trip in a friend's car) from Sydney across to Adelaide, up through the Outback as far as Tennant Creek (interesting story from there, but that's for another day), then across to Cairns before heading along the coast back to Sydney.
Wunnerful trip full of wunnerful people.
And... er...
yeah... the er... Audio Loop tool in T2... is shaped like Alice Springs... or something....
Crap, I have nothing on-topic that hasn't already been said.
