That's crossgrade from SynthMaster 2/3 to SynthMaster One. New SM1 license will be $39 during Black Friday.Examigan wrote: Wed Nov 13, 2024 1:39 pm $9?? That’s the best deal I’ve seen in a long time for any synth plugin. Probably the best ever actually.![]()

Well Richard, I wish I had the deep pockets so that I could afford not to lower my prices that much. But unfortunately I can not afford to do that. Even with the release of a powerful product like SynthMaster 3, I didn't get substantial sales at "full price". $149 is not cheap by the way, and I really wonder how other companies can sell products at $199 price point.zvenx wrote: Wed Nov 13, 2024 2:34 pm But I guess it can be a catch22.
The company needs the sale, but at that price it may give the perception/impression to some, that this isn't a real/serious synth with professional quality. (which is cleary an incorrect perception).

Just did a database lookup, I sold 38 licenses at "full price". $5200 revenue. and expenses for our SM3 release are:
Advertising: $25000
Sound design: $50000
Still need to recover $75000-$5000 and make enough revenue to pay the salaries of our 3 person team

I wasn't really criticising.. I was saying that is surely a dilemma to be in.
Yikes... I think we need to find you a producer with a hit song or two where lots of the main parts were SM3 and that producer is willing to say so on different platforms.

I updated to the latest version yesterday and am using the VST2 version. I was just opening presets by BT and Rob Lee, and then I tried to open a couple Venus Theory presets. This first one by VT worked, but then the next one made Cakewalk just disappear without a sound.
Now when I try to load Cakewalk I get a crash error screen (it mentions SM3) and it won't load with SM3 in it. Not sure how to get around it. (?)

Could you email me the config file at: my documents/synthmaster3/config/synthmaster3config.txt
and then delete that config file. Let's see if that resets the state.

That's a terrible return on you advertising. Who are you paying this to? They seem to be really bad at their job.kv331 wrote: Wed Nov 13, 2024 5:04 pm Just did a database lookup, I sold 38 licenses at "full price". $5200 revenue. and expenses for our SM3 release are:

Ok.
Yeah that's your opinion.VELLTONE MUSIC wrote: Wed Nov 13, 2024 7:42 pm I am totally disgusted by the business at all, mostly thanks to developers, which in my opinion have no idea what are they doing.
Instead, maybe you don't know what you're doing.
It's no mistake.VELLTONE MUSIC wrote: Wed Nov 13, 2024 7:42 pm Anyway the only thing i regret is that non of my really original stuff is available in sm3 library,so people to use it in their production, but that's the sm developer mistake not mine

Have you considered allowing .sfz support for multi-sample import? Would make mapping much easier since that is handled in the .sfz file itself.

Sorry but I do not understand the question. you can already drag-n-drop a sfz onto an osc waveform display and import&load the sfz file.Teksonik wrote: Wed Nov 13, 2024 8:27 pm Have you considered allowing .sfz support for multi-sample import?
