I'm trying to get Late replies working as a sound on sound looper. Anybody have some suggestions?
So far I've only been able to get 2 bar loops going with the base delay at 8 beats. Is there something i'm missing? perhaps someone has a patch they could share.

Working in sync with a DAW you can go up to 16 beats by extending the loop delay time (it can go up to twice the base delay).
If you do not sync, it can go up to 2x5=10 seconds, which is pretty long for a delay
