Is it possible to lock automation curves to parts?

When I want to move a segment of an arrangement somewhere else, do I really have to copy and paste the automation separately from the midi/audio clips? Is there a way to link the automation curves to clips and then just move the whole bundle all at once?

I wouldnt guarantee this is gonna be a T2 feature. We all hope something like this is there, but its not confirmed yet.

Agreed. It's not something that was heavily lobbied for, though I'd LOOOoooove to see it. One of my personal 'most wanted'. But not there yet. :(

How do you move automation curves? You can copy and paste them as well? I have automation on several tracks and every time I add or delete parts everything is ruined. What is the easiest way to deal with this currently?

Thanks,
Pete

you can copy and paste automation curves much like you can copy and paste anything else.

It isn't an entirely efficient way of working with automation, but it can be done.

When a curve is selected, you can copy the curve (or a region of the curve between the loop in-out markers), then paste it at the current cursor position on that, or any other, track.
