Hallo dear Mr. Mossgraber,
First thank You so much for Your wonderful software, keeping the push 1 alive when i switched to bitwig!
The only thing that i am missing would be some sort Shift-Note parameter (in 192tel or dynamically adjusted to the grid resolution) when pressing on a Note-Pad to push the Note it a little bit off the grid to make more groovy patterns. Would something like that would be possible? (and sorry if this was already asked)
Since knobs 1-8 are used, a repurpose of knob 5 (release Velocity) in the Drum-Seq-modes would be great, since release velocity is not really used on percussion-instruments.
Anyway, many thanks and keep up the excellent work!
All the best styro

This is requested quite often but sadly still not possible. Write to Bitwigstyro2000 wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2024 9:28 pm Hallo dear Mr. Mossgraber,

If I understand correctly, I have to program a script myself to access the clip grid of my obscure Numark Orbit controller. Flexi won't help with this one, right?moss wrote: Sun Apr 07, 2024 8:01 am I decided against supporting a clip grid since all grid controllers are somehow already supported in Bitwig. Haven't tested but you can try to work around it by using actions (See the category "Clip Launcher").

Dear Jürgen,
I noticed a behaviour which I am not sure is intended. Using sequencer modes Drum 4/8 on the Push 1, selecting a note will toggle a "Edit Notes: Off" notification in the Push display. I understand that this is probably intended during the selection process using the long press or the pressed Select button. However, until the selected note is manually deselected, it is impossible to enter new ones. Took me a while to figure that out, initally I thought it may have been a bug, now I am not sure. Also I don't remember that behaviour from ealier version, but that may just be me.
It feels to me as if inserting a new note should be possible even if notes are selected and maybe undo said selection, as that wouldn't interrupt the flow as much.
Liebe Grüße aus Köln und hoffentlich bis zur nächsten Superbooth,
Robert
Edit: I found two additional "problems" with that behaviour - creating a new clip while having notes selected in the previous one still disables note input. If said previous clip or note gets deleted, note input still remains off. However, I have also found that pressing the select button again will return note input. Still - is that is the only intended way to get input back?
If so I feel that, if possible, it would be beneficial for the flow to have notes deselected if:

- The clip containing the selected note(s) is deleted
- The selected note(s) are deleted.

And another one:
Pinning the Push 1 to a track within a group and then leaving said group (via long press of one of the tracks in that group) does undo the pin.
Also if the group is entered again the controller gets incorrectly pinned to the first track within the group, regardless of whether that was the track previously pinned within that group or not.

Dear Mr Mossgraber!
I'm a bitwig(latest version) user on mac(monterey). Is there any chance you could make an automap for Novation Remote ZeRO SL?
I just got this little device, I'll try to look into it myself to see if it can be edited. In the meantime, thanks for the answer and your work! Have a nice day!

Yes, that is intentional. You need to unselect all to leave this mode.Head Under Water wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2024 1:47 pm Dear Jürgen,

Interesting! Will take note and see if I can fix this...Head Under Water wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2024 1:47 pm Edit: I found two additional "problems" with that behaviour - creating a new clip while having notes selected in the previous one still disables note input. Pinning means it will not be changed from inside of Bitwig. You can still navigate away from it on the controller (which might not make much sense and might be confusing but that's how it is). If you take a look at the pinning state in Bitwig (the new drop down dialog), you will see that it does not change in your example.Head Under Water wrote: Sun Nov 17, 2024 10:40 am And another one:

Browser on electra one?
I recently got a keylab mk3 and I'm liking the experience of browsing presets on a device. I like what the push can do for browsing devices and presets, but I want to treat bitwig as a multi-timbral instrument for my hapax, so I don't need all of the pads and such a large device (the keylab 49 is also larger than what I need). Having a browser on the electra one would really allow getting away from the computer.
I've also been thinking of what it would take to make some kind of track control device that would be more compact with embedded display(s) along with hardware controls. The electra is most of this but I find the ui made up of uniform rectangles somewhat unappealing (similar with osc) but perhaps workable if there isn't an alternative.

This was so far not possible due to how the Electra One works. Might be possible with the latest firmware (not really sure) but will be tricky.dstengle wrote: Sun Nov 17, 2024 5:34 pm Browser on electra one?
