Rendering midi to audio

I'm running the lastest update of T1. I have a midi track of GPO violin that plays fine as a midi track. When I render the track to audio, the first note plays real loud and then the rest of the notes play as they should.

I tried moving the track back to from position 1 to 2, but it doesn't help. I even set all the notes to the same velocity and even tried export to audio at 1x, but still no change. This also happens when I use Plugsound vol.2, but nothing seems to work.

Tracktion just seems to fit me. Thats why I love working with it. If someone could help me, I would really apperciate it. Thanks

there aren't an effects on the track that could be getting confused are there? lookahead compressors for example?

Dunno what is happening here, but as a workaround in teh mean time, if it's only the first note, why note just move the edit back a bar, and place a dummy note at the start of bar one.
Someone shot the food. Remember: don't shoot food!

The track is completely dry. No effects-only GPO. The dummy note is a good ideal. I will try it.

I have sometimes had rendering problems with notes at the very start of a clip: try slip-editing the start of the MIDI clip back by a fraction..?

Post

Try moving the existing clip down 1 bar and adding a new empty clip at bar 1. This seems to solve all of my rendering problems so far.

yep the first note bug. Just highlight everything and drag it over one bar or something :(

Actually, dragging it over a bar didn't help me at all. I had to add an empty clip.

I've had this problem also.

Putting an extra note at the beginning is what I do.

Does anyone know if this will be fixed in T2?

if this was the only thing fixed in T2 i would still buy the upgrade ;)

if its not fixed im going to be VERY surprised

Agreed. Well-known flaw in these parts.

Beno says a lot of bugs have been removed in T2... and I'm sure this HAS to be one of them
