Hi folks,

Is it possible to link the FX in L1 & L2, so that the FX rack in L2 is just a copy of whatever you have in the L1 rack?

This would be really useful when working on ping-pong delays, where you just want to have exactly the same FX in both.

Obviously you can manually set the same in L1 & L2, but this isn't so nice for tweaking and experimentation!

A button that links L1 & L2 (an then greys out the L2 slots) would be a great aid in sound design.

I know you can also do it with assigning a macro to the same parameter in L1 & L2, but that's an extra step and some plugins have many parameters you want to tweak with having to spend time first assigning macros!

Cheers!

Hi,

Macro parameters that control the same parameters of both instances is indeed an option.

You can avoid this step and manually drag and drop (with CTRL key on Windows (or ALT on Mac) pressed) modified plug-ins from L1 to L2. Not as convenient as a link but faster than setting up parameters very time.

Thanks for the reply!

Please consider adding this feature in the future as many types of ping-pong delay use crosstalk between left and right, and you'll almost always want the same FX on both side!

For example, i was copying some of the pattern delays from Avenger today (2-3, 3-5, 2-5 etc), and these all sound way nicer with some crosstalk. But you also want some filtering, distortion and modulation, and this would be way easier to tweak with L1 & L2 linked.
