Installed. Working fine so far! How do I create a bank out of my version 2 presets so I can just import them as a bank instead of loading them individually?
Also anyone else finding the portamento kind of unpredictable? Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Edit: Seems that it works strangely in polyphonic mode but is fine in mono.

You can find info about how to import v2.0 presets here (I updated the info page)Vortifex wrote: Mon Nov 18, 2024 2:12 pm Installed. Working fine so far! How do I create a bank out of my version 2 presets so I can just import them as a bank instead of loading them individually?

Regarding portamento behavior : In polyphonic mode, the portamento behavior is indeed a bit unpredictable—this is by design. Each voice card glides from its own previous voltage, which means the glide won't follow a straightforward note-to-note transition because the voice cards are rotated.
In mono mode, however, either a single voice card or all 8 cards in unison share the same pitch, making the portamento much more predictable.

This synth sounds so good, and the CPU hit isn't bad. Most of the time it doesn't even need effects. Haven't experienced any bugs so far. The free upgrade was very generous.

Full Apple Silicon support is solid as hell here BTW. Both VST3 and AU versions are working fine in Digital Performer. Everything is solid on AS compared to v2.

What all sound designers are creating sounds for this synth so far ? This is the first time I’ve heard about it, and it sounds much better than any other Ob emulation so far. What’s the catch ? Where’s all the 3rd party soundbanks for this synth ?
Sounds excellent btw.

I think I’m missing presets. This doesn’t look right. Anyone seeing this?

Are you on Mac? He released an update because the previous version was missing presets in VST3 and AU.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Wed Nov 20, 2024 2:15 am I think I’m missing presets. This doesn’t look right. Anyone seeing this?Screenshot 2024-11-18 at 9.50.02 AM.png

The plugin itself. At least, that's what the email said. The exact wording was: "The plug-in OB-Xtreme 3 has just been updated. In receiving this email you have been given access to the updated version that can be downloaded by visiting the order URL:Echoes in the Attic wrote: Wed Nov 20, 2024 12:17 pmI am yeah. Info regarding this update:
This is just correcting the Mac Presets Installer.
Previous one was missing many presets for both vst3 and au
Use this one!"

Am I correct in saying that there is no demo version of OB-Xtreme v3 ?Aly James wrote: Mon Nov 18, 2024 7:52 am Hello everyone,
I’m excited to share that all OB-Xtreme v2 owners will receive a free upgrade to v3—consider it an early Christmas gift from me!

I have the Gforce OB-X. It sounds great but I prefer OB-Xtreme, in terms of the sound and also how it feels to use. I think it sounds more ballsy and raw. The OB-X has much more extensive modulation, plus some nice effects, whereas Xtreme has some other settings and controls that OB-X lacks, such as individually adjustable offsets for things like cutoff, tuning, pulse width etc, voice stealing options, and a bunch of other stuff. Xtreme lacks the ability to resize, but the UI is so big I have no issue with it.MrJubbly wrote: Wed Nov 20, 2024 6:56 pm For those who have used these plugins for a while, how do they compare to GForce Softwarre's offerings?
