I did the same with the K2 but thought £150 was a decent price for a Mk 1.
I already have a Mini MS 20 so it's mainly used as a second voice to go with that and I am feeding it via MIDI or VCV Rack CV output so the v/oct input isn't an issue.
Seen some of the envelope issues on the Pro-800 were sorted very quickly with a firmware update though that is more of a bug fix than new feature so I'm hoping that new features get a look in too.

That guy selling me the 12U rack did it on Reverb and says the courier company f'd up picking it up from him twice now so he's actually driving it down here tonight, says he's using it as an excuse to visit friends in Hythe but it's really going out of his way to drive down to the South coast from Cheltenham. It's about 90 miles!

LOL! What that needs is a tiny little LCD screen and a little built in speaker to play chiptunes sounds every time you change the settings. Also if it doesn't come with a bunch of cutesy stickers, then there's a problem.

For now I've got bigger fish to fry, but, I will probably eventually get a Mk2 and sell off the Mk1 just because of how I use it. But, TBH, at Behringer prices, I find it hard to complain.

Yeah, it's not a bank-breaker buying anything from them so no regrets really. I'll probably get the mk2 and keep the mk1 just because. Alongside my 70s original, it'll be 3 x MS20s. Complete overkill but I'm sure I can find some way of making 3 screaming Korgs work together :hihi: . If I could figure it out, I should be able to play 6 note MS20 chords with them. Fuctifino what musical use that would have for the type of music I make... :scared:

Preordered one of these from Gear4Music as they were projecting about a 4 week wait.

Also, to join in my recent splurge ordered a Syncussion SY-1 from Andertons and they reckon they’ll be on the same flight as the Behringer Spice I ordered.

China’s making money out of me. I really should also buy a US guitar before Trump goes mental with tariffs and/or nuclear war breaks out.

Bought a used Linnstrument 128. I read enough reviews of them to figure it's exactly what I'm looking for, and convinced myself it's worthwhile after years of resisting it due to the price.

I love my Linnstrument! For me it just clicked instantly and was able to play stuff I struggled to do with a keyboard, within days. I don't frequently use all of the expression stuff. Mostly just pitch bend and I may use the Y-axis to control something but I don't use pressure very often (unless I'm using it to directly control VCA level). It's so much fun to play a monosynth bassline from the Linnstrument.

Ah, I should check with "my guy" about the Spice. The SY-1 is space inefficient, but I like it.

Also planning to hunker down for a few years if the tariffs go crazy.

Going the DIY route this year, mostly as fun things to put together for a while. I've had a few Erica Synths DIY modules sitting in boxes waiting after I screwed up their VCF last year and ragequit, but I've topped off their line along with the Labor breadboard, with a couple duplicates for hi hats etc. Also ordered a few of those little Mystic Circuits 0HP gadgets for practice, and as utilities for the 2600. Fun times.

Yep, I haven't been able to build for a while because both of my shops have been in shambles. I managed to find a huge surge of motivation to clean my garage and this should help get things put back where they belong so that I will have the space to get back to building. Like you, I have a bunch of unbuilt kits and also some unfinished scratch projects.

That definitely sounds great! Did you get the kit?

Ordered a Noise Engineering Desmodus Versio in black Friday sale.
