What does the BandGraphs switch do?

Hi, could anybody show me what the BandGraphs switch in MDynamicEQ for example accomplishes ?
Despite the help tag's description: "Band graphs button enables/disables display of band graphs", I can't see any difference with the switch engaged or not.

Band graphs shows the EQ curves for each band (blue and green)as well as the overall EQ curve (dark grey).
