Kult, Novum, Myth and Hyperion in Linux.

Has anyone had any success getting these to work in Linux via wine? They install and show up fine using yabridge. However, the gui does not refresh until you move the window. I've tried using dxvk and various yabridge.toml options without success.

Well.. as I said on the other thread. Everything is working just fine around here... You will get better support from us Linux users if you include some more details about your "Linux" setup.

i.e. In my case, I run Ubuntu 24.04 Wayland, wine-9.0 (Ubuntu 9.0~repack-4build3) and Yabridge 5.1.0

Kult and Love, I own and the main reason I've bought them was that they run under Linux with Wine/Yabridge.
Novum, Myth and Hyperion I've tested and they all run just fine.

I guess the issue might be with Wine 9.9 and Wine 9.5

From Yabridge's github:

"Yabridge has been tested under the following hosts using Wine Staging 9.8. Wine 9.5-9.7 will not work with yabridge because of a Wine bug, either upgrade to Wine 9.8 or downgrade to Wine 9.4."

Well, I've already tried Wine 9.4 with the same result. Anyway, I'll keep trying. I'm glad to know others have these plugins working.

Thought I'd close the loop on this. I did manage to get all the Dawesome synths (plus Toneboosters) working in wine with Yabridge. I installed them in a wineprefix with dvxk. I then needed to install the Vulkan driver for AMD as I use an AMD graphics card. The only glitch I've had is with registering Myth and Kult. They freeze during the process but do complete. Just need to close the host and re-open and all is good. So far they are working well.

Yes, you need the COPR for wine TKG 9.4 on Fedora that sets everything up for yabridge and to get rolling. For all other distros including Fedora, you then have install all that windows junk via winetricks like directx the corefonts ect. Make sure you do WINEPREFIX=~/.wine winetricks --self-update if you run into the "SHA256" error.

I used 5900x and xfx 6800xt

All of those esp hyperion work with GUI full response to mouse clicks and meters work via wine 9.4.

Hello, using Wine 9.21 tkg staging with yabridge 5.1.1 and Debian 12.

Toneboosters plugins recently broke with latest updates, they went to Juce 8.

Same just happened with AberrantDSP latest updates this week, it seems related to D2D level (1.2 in Wine, 1.3 in JUCE) but I'm not sure. Dawesome Love 1.08 is working instead.

Are they working for you? Any hint on what to tweak?
