MIDI controlled envelope or gate?

Hi folks,

I'm looking for an envelope (gate) audio plugin that i can control with MIDI.

So when it receives the first note on message, it will open the envelope or gate over the assigned attack period (rise time), and when it receives the last note off, it will move to the release stage.

Can any Melda plugins help me to achieve this effect?

I think you could do the envelope part with MCCGenerator which is in the free bundle (but ironically, you need the paid upgrade to make use of that particular plugin). The free bundle is only $20 right now, I believe, and is easily worth the money. You also need some kind of level regulator for the envelope to control. MUtility (also in the free bundle) would be what I'd use.

If you get the paid version of the MFreeBundle, you could use MRatio. Set the Ratio to 0% and use an modulator in envelope mode to modulate the Volume knob.

MUtility seems like the proper plugin to use for that, but it doesn't have modulators, even in the paid version, which is a shame.

Anyways you can do that with literally any plugin, which has gain and modulators.
