Never had one for testing but in theory it should already work with the Remote Mk2 implementation.

Currently, not.
What if there was a button combo that added a multi note prior to a vst and a knob could select the preset? Wouldnt that sort of do it?

Hi Jürgen,

Is there any chance of you adding support for the Novation LaunchKey Mk4 devices some time soon? I tried the scripts for the earlier versions but I think the new ones are different 'enough' to not work in quite the same way.

Many thanks in advance (and obviously, I appreciate the fact that you will need one of the devices to be able to work on it...)

Cheers,
C

Bitwig themselves just released support for the Mk4.

With the Beta just released maybe not the best time for these suggestions but I hope you will take them onboard.

PUSH:

1. Please can we have a Config option to set Shift+Left/Right to move by one track at a time. Currently it moves track position. During a live performance I can't think of a single instance where I'd want to be moving track position (although it can be useful during production), whereas optimising my grid layout to cover the most useful tracks is something I do every 2-5 minutes. (It may be worth also swapping the Normal and Shift Up/Down to scroll scenes so they both move by 8 on a normal press and by 1 with Shift, assuming this option is enabled. But I'm a new user and such a change might just be too confusing for older users...)

1b. The Shift+Left/Right to move track feature is not properly documented. It is not mentioned at all in the Push section of the manual. I finished watching the entire 36 video playlist on the Push today and this feature is only mentioned once somewhere around video 20, four years or so ago, when you changed the shortcut from being Move By 1 (which I'd like back) to moving track position. It wasn't until I came across this video that I realised why I had been messing up my projects every single time I tried to use the Push! Especially as the manual does mention Shift+Up/Down being Move Scene by 1, so it's a pretty normal assumption to make that Shift+Left/Right should also move by 1 in the other direction.

2. What about a fully rotated view? Where you rotate the physical Push device so the screen is on the left then tracks and clips on the device line up with those on the screen. The touchstrip is then in exactly the right position to use as a crossfader too.

OXI ONE:

3. Please add a buttons combination to stop track playing. Maybe hold Stop and press Track Select??

4. Is a rotated view possible? Four cells/scene of sixteen tracks seems a weird choice as the only layout when most controllers are 8x8 and on the Oxi you could have 8 tracks by 12 scenes, with the four buttons going to the left side. To be able to switch between these two views live could be quite powerful for the way I've been working.

Bitwig themselves just released support for the Mk4.
I have been checking back there (and at Novation) regularly...obviously not regularly enough! Installing the Bitwig update now.

Unless I'm missing something obvious it seems they didn't add support/features for the encoders which is kinda weird. Anyway, 'some' support is better than none at all :)

It was me 'missing something obvious'! I read the documentation and the encoders 'are' supported, of course.

:/

It is already on the wishlist.

That's already possible: When in Session mode, press the Session button again, which will open the configuration mode. Select "Flipped".

Don't think that a flipped mode makes sense on devices which do not have the same number of pads in both directions.

Does anyone have 24.5.1 working correctly with Arturia Beatstep? Or is the script broken?

For me the SHIFT function/key is not working. I see the lights reacting. So presumably the hardware key is ok. But no reaction from the script. I can not switch the Modes with Shift. I installed everything according to docs (uploaded Beatstep file, global channel on 3,sequencer off) on MacOS 15.1 with Bitwig 5.2.

Is there a way to debug what is happening?

Firmware version for the Beatstep is 1.2.0.3 . That is the latest version I see in my Arturia acccount. I double-checked by reflashing but still have the behaviour.

Just tried an older Beatstep with Version 1.1.0.0 and it WORKS. There must have been changes on Arturia side that broke it.
