I always liked the izotope trash mb compressor. They removed it from trash but they still have a mb comp in neutron so that will probably be my go to. Just acquired it with k15.

I have always used Ozone for that myself - mainly out of habit now. Wave Arts has a decent multiband compressor.

I know that, but the more I experiment with multiband comps and eq's, the more I realize how similar they are. Fabfilter pro MB could have easily been marketed as a multi band EQ and I don't think anyone would have known the difference.

Pretty much every eq is multi band. Are you referring to dynamic EQ? Or are you referring to the linear phase crossover waves multi band compressor? I would notice if someone marketed a compressor as an equalizer. Or if someone marketed a "multi band eq" at all.Raddler1 wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:45 pmI know that, but the more I experiment with multiband comps and eq's, the more I realize how similar they are. The one from Reaper is solid. I think it's part of ReaPlugs.

ReaXcomp is awesome. I didn't ever install the Reaplugs on my latest workstation so I forgot about it. They are all damn good for freebies. The ReaFIR ft processor can do spectral dynamics for extreme processing, broadband noise reduction, etc.satYatunes wrote: Tue Nov 26, 2024 7:28 am The one from Reaper is solid.
