Last year in November I contacted DR to change my payout account. They requested KYC. It took weeks and months. In the meantime my payouts was on hold. I decided to search for another payment provider (BMT Micro). After more than 3 months DR finally finished my KYC. Since this time I offered two payment provider to my customers. This is the reason why my loss with DR isn't big. BMT Micro wants 9.5% and they charge $35 for wire transfer. But the KYC is minimal and you write with real people and they offer modern popup checkout, which I can recommend.

Does BMT Micro handle VAT? So is it a Merchant of Record?

Yes, of course. For 9.5% you can expect that.

Payment for July arrived on the 29th of October last month... will there be a happy black Friday with the August payment on the 29th of November? Fingers crossed!

Stripe is not a MoR, it doesn't handle the countries tax(es), that can't work for a majority of small vendors which have to handle taxes.

As for KYC in DR, have you received the payments after that? If yes, how long it takes? I just redone KYC on DR and their compliance department has approved it.

I've reported Digital River GmbH from Cologne, Germany of embezzling of money (Unterschlagung § 246 StGb), to the NRW police.
https://formulare.polizei.nrw/en/anzeige#/

No payments since July, in a meantime unilateral changing of contract, extending the payment deadline from previously contracted 14 days to two months, additional, nontransparent verification requirements even for their long term customers (KYC), without any legal basis, and other smokescreens as well.

The company is not available by their phone number, they do not answer emails, a registered snake mail cannot be delivered by Deutsche Post for over 3 weeks. The only communication possibility is a chat costing 185 EUR/support hour, on a website without any physical address provided.

If someone would like to be my whitness, please send me your contact data as a private message.
However your email must be from the domain, you sell your product. I do not communicate with anonymous DR trolls.

Please, let somebody (maybe from Germany) list the exact title and address of the Cologne court responsible for handling disputes with DR.

Haven't they gone out of business yet?? Wow, Must be any moment now.
Their brand is ruined forever.

And why did they pay only some of their publishers? Is it because of the 10k limit???

In the latest credit note, from 1-Nov-2024 there is the following footer:

Digital River GmbH · Scheidtweilerstr. 4 · 50933 Köln · Deutschland
Kundenservice: https://cs.mycommerce.com
Geschäftsführer: Keith Bush
Handelsregister: HRB 56188 / Amtsgericht Köln
VAT ID: DE194149069 - Tax ID: 223/5804/6905

The Amtsgericht Köln contact is there

What do you need the court for?

Maybe because if they do not pay at all, someone could say - the do not want to pay. It would be criminal intence. If they pay in any way, they can hide behind their internal KYC policy, AI engine, or similar stuff.

We "promised" them in a written letter (that they confirmed to receive it), to go to court if they don't pay July + August by 30-Nov.

Now we will probably need to prepare a lawsuit. We will contact a law firm in Cologne, but we want to be sure which court is responsible since law firms want as much info as possible before starting the procedure.

It is about $23k for July and August alone - we will need to take legal action if they don't pay.

It took 3 months. They finished KYC when they realised that I didn't forwarded any customers to them. Got payment with the next turn. But it was 10 months ago. Now they request KYC only to bully there vendors. But some people seems to have a masochistic predisposition.
