It's a free update? :o
It's a free plugin, so yes.

May I direct your attention to Supermassive?

...also the analog mode is really good. Two variations on something here:

Again an update? Why no notification?
It's good to pay for KVR subscription, how else would you know there's an update?!

Post

That's exactly why KvR is a good idea to visit. Probably the majority of plugins I own don't inform me when there's an update. I guess the devs assume you have 5 fingers, a mouse, a brain, therefore the gumption to check their sites/accounts for updates?

Post

We will likely send out an email once the update is available with the fix for the splice artifact in ChromeTape. It will also include information about the Pleiades update to Supermassive.

This will take a few weeks due to having to update a signing certificate for Windows, and Sean is going to enjoy the holiday and some time with his family while awaiting approval for the certificate.

Just a head's up: there's a 3.0.5 update for ValhallaDelay out.

There are no release notes but educated guess; I think we're looking at:

1. They added an outline around the Mix label to indicate it's a button one can press to turn on the Mix Lock feature

2. They fixed the stray "tape splice" in the ChromeTape mode (that mode was supposed to be splice free)

3. Windows code signing (I didn't have to do the "Run Anyway" thing in Windows running the installer)

EDIT:
4. Previous/Next buttons for DelayMode and Era. Oft-requested around these parts.

I wish Valhalla DSP would solve the automation bug most (all?) products having since ages. Talking about VST3. Informed Valhalla about this bug already a couple of time over the years without response.

Win 10 64 bit, Live 12, Reaper 7. Valhalla DSP: Delay, UberMod, Supermassive, Spacemodulator, VintageVerb.

The issue I have is with automating (Live and Reaper), controlling Valhalla DSP plug-ins with Push 3 (Live), using the plug-ins within a macro-mapped rack (Live). A lot of value jumping / and or unresponsive parameters. It's buggy unlike any other VST3 I use.

See also my older post about this issue: viewtopic.php?p=9016117#p9016117
It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Out of curiosity I tried the VST2 version of Valhalla Delay. Slightly different but nearly similar issues. Automation is nearly unusable.

That's weird because I use CSI in Reaper to control ValhallaDelay VST3 on my MIDI Fighter Twister and/or X-Touch and it works fine. It's basically tapping into the automation parameters/system via TrackFX_GetParamNormalized/SetParamNormalized APIs.

Can you create and share an otherwise empty .rpp project with ValhallaDelay VST3 on a track along with the automation lane(s) that reproduces the error? And if you can do that, then I'd also even suggest shooting an email to support@cockos.com with a link to said .rpp in case it's a Reaper thing. If they confirm it's not, Justin or Schwa may be able to respond with details about why it's happening that may be helpful for Sean.
