I would like to make a sound more legato, so it will not make a sharp attack with each note playing fast scales. In this video
Chandler says at second 52 "I have it legato....".
Now my question is: how do you set legato for a (basic) sound,

this is re-triggering of the modulation, which is not the legato effect I mentioned. I asked Chandler at the Youtube movie and got the answer: "In the globals tab, set the synth to monophonic. That usually does it, but if it doesn't, click the advanced button. Play with the various voice restart modes until you get the sound you want. Also make sure the envelopes, lfos, etc that you use are set correctly for the sound you want. They usually have trigger setting inside you can adjust. I hope that helps."
