I found that this purchase dropped 20 reward points in my account, effectively returning 20 euros to me for other purchases and making the upgrade actually 99 euros :D

I seem to remember that you get reward-points only when purchasing in the Reason shop (the rewards page states something to that effect), so when purchasing through other channels (like RRshop) with a discount code might actually be more expensive.
They have a very limited selection of what you can buy with your Reward coins so if you are covered with all the RE Plugins you want or the ones you want are not in that list your Reward Coins are pretty much useless.

It is also not possible to use the Reward Coins to upgrade Reason.
It's fine - I bought it in JRRShop but I still got the Reward tokens when I registered it with ReasonStudios

Also this year the rewards store also has sale items, they don't always

Totally agree with that. However, if there are still things in there you like to get, then getting the reward tokens is a valid discount. Besides that, For the last few years, new rack extensions from Reason themselves tend to go into the rewards show right away. So there's that.

The main reason I posted this, is the fact that you normally get one token for each 20 euros/dollars/etc that you spend. That would amount to 6 tokens for the upgrade sale price, but you get 20. I still think that's nice.

Great to know for those still thinking about getting it this BF.

Yep, normally stuff was moved out of the rewards section during sales, but lately they say in rewards WITH the sale discount. The 20 tokens from the Reason upgrade just tipped my rewards amount over 50, so I got Ekks Amalgam for 4 euros :D

I was thinking of that or Sines

For a moment, me too. Sines seems a novel idea, but listening to the sound examples it comes across as 'just' another FM synth. Amalgam at least brings a bunch of VA filters, which seems a bit more flexible. I would never buy either one at full price, but picking it up for close to naught is fine. Just another synth to mess around with, as if I didn't have way too much of that already :dog: :D

I won't spend any penny in the RE ecosystem anymore until they allow users to transfer their Rack Extension licences when you sell your Reason licence...

One question for the Reason experts.
I am trying to force myself to use the RRP but having lost habits to use Reason, I have a basic usability issue.
I am sound designing with a few synths inside a combinator, all plugged onto a mixer. After the mixer I have a few basic effects (EQ, compressor, reverb), nothing fancy. Normally when I am doing that, I like to try to change the order of the effects.
Inside Bitwig I would just drag and drop quickly my VST on the left or on the right of the signal chain.
In the rack, of course when I move the effects, it doesn't change the wiring (which is expected). But then if I want to A/B different setups, each time, I have to unwire and rewire all plug ins.
Is there a faster way to do ? I tried the automatic wiring but it isn't working well.

Does Shift+Drag works for you?
A+B+C, Moving C to A will result in C+A+B so you need to repeat and move A to have C+B+A

In full Reason, I believe pressing the Shift (or possibly Alt) key and then moving the devices will automatically redo the wires in the new order.

Peak RS to introduce new MIDI fx when they already have 10 fairly advanced ones.

No, KvR - looks like they have released the news too soon. It was in my mail inbox as well. There was even a new YT video with Ryan, presenting the new Midi Player devices included in 13.1. But the news was deleted immediately from their website, the video shortly after.

It was weird, didn't find any traces after I read the comment above. Thank you for the clarification!

13.1 is still in beta, but they spilled the beans about what's coming :D
