Ah, thanks for the reply! Just to check, is your license for Oxide the free one that Plugin Boutique is giving away this weekend - I only ask because previous UA freebies have been machine iLok enabled even though the paid versions are not (the Galaxy Echo and Pultecs for example).

My license had been bought as part of a bundle I didn't know their licenses had different authorizations of they have been bought or had as a gift

Ah, no worries! It is indeed silly that it works that way, I've long since stopped trying to understand some of UA's decisions... Thanks for your help though!

What are some no brainer deals so far, folks?

The best black Friday deal I ever got was the black rooster one a few years back where you could get every plugin for $99. They're having that sale again this year.

The iPad version is also on sale for $4.99; I owned a desktop license already, but it was a BR no-brainer for me for noodling on my iPad in Aum.

If you want something “boutique” from Teletone (Kontakt Player libraries) then they have a sale only one time per year for BF (still a bit pricey IMO except their pianos, which are cool and worth it to me). So waiting buying at this time can save you some $$. I haven’t purchased anything else from them; a lot of composers on vi-control seem to like their Kontakt synths, probably because their synth libraries are ready-to-go and musical out of the gate without a confusing array of sound design controls.

Wave Alchemy’s sale is a pretty big no-brainer to me, but I own licenses for Triaz and all their Kontakt instruments already. If you are just starting out and want a top-tier set of drum samples, then their massive sample collection sale is definitely a no-brainer.

A similar no-brainer is Samples from Mars “Everything from Mars” BF sale. Again, it is a huge collection of high quality stuff, mostly drum samples.

Otherwise it really depends on what you want. Some sales are good and some “meh” related to previous years.
