I think I found a bug
Bring up the virtual keyboard , assign user keys to notes
Works as expected
Now click the 'disable' button .
There is no way to bring the keyboard back alive , even when entering new custom keys
Also , how to change clip and racks colours ?
Right menu clicking shows no colour option
Virtual keyboard impossible to revive after clicking disabling button

I would also love to utilise the three lanes so it covers my whole pc keyboard , but that doesn't seem to work either
And.....I'm an idiot
I forgot to assign the notes
All good

I'm confused by your multiple statements on the virtual keyboard. Is there still an issue or did you find the solution?
About coloring tracks & racks:
Project menu -> Color Picker -> Drag-drop colors on tracks & racks.
Tip: You can also drop a track/rack on the color picker, more specifically on the color field at the right of the Hue/Sat/Lum sliders) to get its color, change it a bit, and drop back. Also useful to copy colors from one object to another.
