In the sync drop-down box, it would be great if we could have a fourth option: "Host match"

So if you're in host mode, and you switch sync to "Host match", it will change the big knob to show milliseconds, but, the millisecond setting will be whatever it needs to be to keep the exact same delay as host mode.

This would be really useful because sometime in host mode, you feel like you want to slightly slow down or speed up the delay, so this new mode would allow you to do very subtle, millisecond tweaks to the host matched tempo.

So for example, if you're at 120bpm, and you switch from host to host match, the big knob would jump to (approx) 495 ms.

Maybe something else to consider is to add a new knob to both the pattern and loop sections that would speed up or slow down just the delays in just those sections exclusively.
You might want to do very subtle tweaks, so apart from the usual shift+drag for finer adjustment, maybe also add alt+drag for ultrafine adjustment.

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion. This would not work, as when changing the tempo in the host, the knob would be reset to the exact match. However an extra "deviation" control could do the trick.

Nice, i guess a deviation knob would do the exact same thing!

That would also be useful for doing slow down or speed up delay FX, while still keeping the general delay locked to the host.

You could even have the deviation knob calibrated to note length values, so you when you twist the knob it will progressively increase to the next value and you can set it exactly there. So for example, you can decrease it continuously from quarter to eighth note values.... that might lead to some very interest automation effects where the delay goes temporarily out of sync as you twist, then back in sync when you hit the next exact increment.
