Unable To Find Download Manager

Hey, I'm having an issue with my WaveForm Pro 13 software. I'm on windows. When I click on "install" on any of the items in the Downloads section of settings, it's telling me that "Download Manager was not found at "" ". While this doesn't have an immediate noticeable effect as I can download stuff from the download manager itself, it seems to manifest itself in the way that many things are installed fine but don't appear in Waveform. This is apparent especially when it comes to the sound packs (mostly for the sampler IIRC) like the Techno Essentials construction kit and the Solo Orchestral etc etc etc, as they just don't appear in Waveform, at all. Not in the sampler, not anywhere I can find.

This is a real pain in my ass because everything -- including the download manager worked wonderfully on Linux and I just moved to using WaveForm on Windows for additional plugin support, for example for the new Zyklop synth. It's crazy that this works perfectly on Linux but not on Windows, usually it's the other way around

Anyway, any help is appreciated, I'd really like to start making music and stop worrying about technical limitations and such. I'll give more info if you need it, anything I can do to make this better.

Have you installed Download Manager?

Does it appear when you sign in to the Tracktion website?

Yes, I have it installed. I don't quite know what you mean with "Does it appear when you sign in to the Tracktion website?". The Tracktion website allows me to download the Download Manager, yes. Waveform allows me to download the Download Manager too, and Waveform was installed through the download manager. The problem here seems to be that Waveform is not connected to the Download Manager, and cannot find it. It is downloaded, I haven't done anything special to AFAIK, just installed it through the .exe installer.

It's a strange issue, because my setup is not special in any way, at least I don't think so. I just installed windows too, so there shouldn't be any applications interfering with it. jabe if you have any further questions I'll gladly give more info, thanks for trying to help

On mine (I'm using Windows 10), Download Manager is located here:
C:\Program Files\Tracktion\Tracktion Download Manager

and this location has three shortcut files in it:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Tracktion Download Manager

Is yours the same?

I'm having this same problem - and my download manager and shortcut files are the same. I've reinstalled download manager, but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

I am not experienced in the Windows version. Still allow me to suggest something to check:
Have both apps (Waveform and Download Manager) been installed by them same user? Maybe the trouble is caused because the one app was installed as a normal user, and the other one was installed with administration privileges, or something like this?

Thanks for the response. That doesn't seem to be the case - I downloaded both using my main account. I tried reinstalling Waveform and it worked the first time I used it, but then when I opened Waveform again just now, it had the same problem. Any ideas?
