I downloaded and installed DreamMachines in ~/Documents/MDrummer but when I open DreamMachines in MSoundFactoryLE I get the error message window included below. The files are found after pressing "Find missing files" but they are forgotten next time I open the plugin.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Open "Download & Install instruments" window, in the bottom left corner, make sure you have the path set correctly.

What should the path be? When first opened it had "/" (clearly wrong) and I changed it to my documents folder path. Is there a way to specify the path within MSoundFactorLE, so that it knows where to find the samples. I am not sure why it is looking in the weird path with Ableton Live 11 in the path name... since it is not what I specified when downloading and installing.

Try to start again. Delete the samples.
Set the path in MSF first, then download the samples and they will download into the correct place.

The only place I am aware of where I can set the path is in the download+install popup window, please let me know if there is a way to set the path in MSF instead.

I already deleted and reinstalled multiple times and the outcome is always the same. The funny thing is that when I open DreamMachines in MSF in Ableton Live 11 it tells me it cannot find the files in the path containing "Ableton Live 11" in the path name (see screenshot above). But when I open MSF in Bitwig, it tells me it cannot find the files in the path containing "Bitwig" in the path name... so there is something clearly wrong going on.

Set the path in "Download & Install instruments" window.

I did when I installed DreamMachines (I set it to my Documents folder on MacOS) but clearly it is not where MSF is looking for samples when I load it.

Hi
Is this resolved? I have eactly the same problem.
I have unistalled then re-installed DreamMachines twice. Each time specifying the location on a USB drive where I keep Kontakt samples, etc. without problem.
On opening dream machines, I get the missing samples message. I then find the samples, but have to repeat this if I change drums.
Next time I try to use DreamMachines - same thing.

What worked for me is manually placing the install directory into the requested path.
